Sugoi Sushi

I've been a customer of Sugoi Sushi for quite some time now, and I must say, I've never had a disappointing experience. The service is consistently quick and friendly, and the food is always fresh. It's a fantastic spot for sushi, especially for those passing through town. Lucky for the locals who adore sushi! 👍🏼

I've been a customer ever since they opened. The food is always dynamite! Good quality sushi that has that fresh feel. Their service is always great! I only remember one rude employee who didn't last long. They have a bathroom that is clean enough. The atmosphere inside is nice enough to dine in. They have some T.V.s playing Kpop videos which is nice. Their menu is great! I even saw they had Poke Bowls which too me are a bit hard to find. I tried them and even though it wasn't the one's I had in Hawaii, they were really good! Only negative I can think of is when they close 2-4:30. I could be wrong but I think I heard it's too bring in the fresh shipment of fish from SF.

Ordered the ABC Lunch Bento box. Teriyaki chicken and the fried gyoza were the stars of the show. Very attentive staff as well.

This place has amazing food and the service is top notch 👌 Best place to get sushi in town by far. The only con i can think of is Sugoi closes from 2 to 4:30 during the week. I like eating lunch around that time so it's kinda inconvenient.

I usually have take out wanted to try something new, asked for a random request from a comment in the reviews and the server made it happen. Didn’t disappoint it was delicious, craving satisfied!!! and service was great too.

Came here with some friends we were visiting. Very good sushi! Excellent service! But if your coming for dinner get here early, it gets packed fast. The rolls are big and very yummy.

Delicious food! Definitely marks top favorite restaurant in los banos! You can't go wrong with any of their selections

Great sushi spot for the town! It is pricey, but worth it for a treat. Food is always good and fresh, plus their service is always attentive and fast. Weekend evenings tend to be packed so I recommend to order take out or expect a wait.

Always amazing! Pacheco Roll, Heart Attach(omg so so good) Fried Gyoza, Baked Mussels and I cant remember what the other roll was, but it was great. The Miso soup is perfect especially when sick. The Spicy Ramen(no meat) as well.

Delicious meal! We enjoyed the teriyaki salmon, with a California roll in the bento box. Everything about the restaurant was delightful.

I visited here 3 times in the last month. I absolutely love the sushi here. You need to try the “Aloha” and the “Lobster”. You can not go wrong eating here.

The food is amazing and so is the service! It was my family's first time dining in since the Pandemic began, and we were thoroughly impressed. We order from Sugoi often and are always impressed.

Being from the bay area, I am a bit spoiled when it comes to certain cuisines. Sugoi is an awesome addition to food choices in Los Banos, CA. At Sugoi you can order Japanese and Korean dishes. The sushi is great. I am a big fan of soup, so I typically order the spicy seafood udon (udon noodles, seafood mix, and a savory/spicy broth), which I highly recommend. for the Korean dish, I always enjoy the beef bulgogi. The staff is friendly, the establishment is clean, and the environment is peaceful. I love Sugoi!

Don't get weird because it is sushi in Los Banos. And you Gen X locals, forget that it used to be Mountain Mike's when we were kids. When you walk in, it's like another land. It's lovely inside, wait staff are so cordial, and the sushi is oh my gawd so good. Just do it!

California roll is always my go to, Super easy to order, wait time is quick, and always delicious!

Took my family out for sushi. Service was friendly and quick and the sushi tasted fresh. When in town we would go there again.
