Food here is great! It's a little pricey but you're on Balboa Island so that's expected. The service here was amazing. 😊

Try fried calamari. They added fried lemon that is making the dish even better. The lemon balanced the sea food taste perfectly! Love this place especially after long walking over the Ireland. Will recommend this place to my friend.

I came here with my family for dinner on our first night vacationing in Balboa. There was about 12 of us so we got a reservation. The service was great and the food came out quickly. There was options for children as well. I enjoyed the Ahi sandwich and Cali Creamin beer. They had sports on TV and a small bar area. Definitely recommend a reservation for a bigger party as the space is not big.

Great place to eat! We went there for lunch today - the pizza is great, and I stole some of my brother's fries and they were amazing. I also really liked the atmosphere of the place - it was nice and fun, and eating lunch there meant it was less crowded. I definitely recommend visiting Snipe if you are in the Balboa Island area.

One of my regular spots. Salmon salad with no cheese add avocado with a California cream ale is my go to. You can’t go wrong here.

Not only is this a cute little spot on the main drag on Balboa Island, the staff are truly great. I was having a tough day yesterday and was happily greeted by Elana (sp?) and Darby who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Their thoughtfulness and kind gestures truly made my day. These two ladies are a gift to this establishment and I am grateful to have meet them both. Thank you again.

Just moved to the island and this is my favorite casual spot. The staff is so accommodating, hard working, and pleasant to be around. Food is amazing. Best burger I have had in awhile, and the prosciutto pizza is simply decadent! They have a concise but diverse selection of beer on tap! Recommend this place for everyone!

This is one of the best spots on the Island. If you want something casual with awesome food at an affordable price, it’s definitely the place to go!

I like that their menu (both food and drinks) is very simple. The chicken sandwich is hands down my favorite. It’s not often that a chicken sandwich tastes better than a good burger!

My wife and I dined at Snipe Island not long after they opened and enjoyed a delicious meal, great beer, and awesome service. Staff was exceptionally nice and we had a great time. We shared the sausage fennel pizza and the salmon salad and it was perfect. We'll make this a regular stop.

Good food w quality ingredients (pizzas, sandwiches), fast, friendly service and an eclectic tap selection. Blonde wood and people watching thru open windows on Balboa Island's main drag adds to the casual charm.

I have been a Balboa Island resident my entire life and love it when something new comes to town that has great food. I had the chipotle burger which was out of this world and my wife had the salmon salad which she enjoyed greatly. We will be regulars a snipe island.

This is a nice little gem on Balboa Island. We stopped by there and ordered wine and apps. The food was fantastic. I recommend the ahi. The service was great. Loved the cozy atmosphere.
