Kid Friendly (I have a 16 month old). There was Connect Four and a Big Jenga. Lots of grass areas where you can keep your children separate from those wishing to just enjoy their wine and the view. There are quite some big hillside drops so obviously just keep an eye on your kiddos, like you should be anyways. The gentleman pouring our tastings (Matt?) was very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. The Chardonnay and Cab Franc was my fav. Such a beautiful view high on the hill side WOW.

I highly recommend this exceptional five-star wedding venue. The enchanting and unique experience felt like a beautiful garden party, complete with stunning views, great wine, and happy guests. Linda, the property owner, was fabulous and accommodating, making the planning process easy and enjoyable. Overall, a special and wonderful day thanks to the outstanding efforts of Linda and her team.

Matt was kind and knowledgeable. No-frills wine tasting of some great wines, followed by a picnic with a beautiful view. Come pay a visit!

View Forever Road. Yep! The winery has two large areas perfect for snacks and a enjoying a bottle of wine! The grounds are beautiful and clearly loved by the owners. We will be back.

Lucchesi Winery is worth the drive on a narrow road. The winery is beautiful; the view is amazing; and the wine is delicious and unique. Everyone is so friendly. We sat in the shade overlooking the amazing view and enjoyed a glass of wine. It was so relaxing and cool under the trees. Highly recommended!

Linda is an absolute delight! She was very knowledgeable and kind. I would recommend swinging in and enjoying a glass with her! They have a beautiful view, vineyard and amazing wine! Thanks again Linda for making our one wine stop the most memorable! I am enjoying my purchased bottle of sparkling wine!

We have had a great stay at the vineyard. Help pick grapes for 2 days, delightful folks.

The winery is off the beaten path, literally, but SO worth a visit. The wines are incredible and you won't be disappointed. We loved every sip, taken on a patio with a million dollar view of the Sierra Nevada foothills. The entire place is infused with a down to earth, unpretentious feel that is probably best represented by and an enormous pile of awards in the corner of the tasting room. Make the time and stop by.

Pros:
View is insane. Did not expect it and would love to go back to it.
The grounds are beautiful and charming. Very low key and easy atmosphere
Staff were kind and welcoming
Owner had great sense of humor and served our group during tasting. She read our lack of wine-knowledge well and was very informative and fun
Wine was great
Owner’s dogs were great and very good as security and pet-tax enforcers

Cons:
Cannot take said dogs home with me. :( but that’s okay because they’re definitely needed at the vineyard for very important work.

Best view I’ve EVER seen. Gorgeous hidden vineyard. Wine was delicious and Linda the owner is lovely. Loved the Zinfandel! Such a great place to take photos as well.

An awesome experience at both the tasting room in downtown Grass Valley and at the vineyard. You really should try to both on your next Grass Valley trip. Great wines, very personable and gracious hosts, and a view from the vineyard that you can enjoy with your wine!

Yesterday, my husband I went there for my birthday. It is my favorite winery, from a production standpoint. I had only been to the tasting room, and I never leave there without at least two bottles.

Yesterday, we decided to skip the tasting room, and go to the winery/vineyards!

It is a little hard to find so your GPS will be necessary. It is without a doubt one of the most beautiful spots on this earth. We sat outside and tasted the reds after tasting whites indoors.

I loved the Pinot Grigio, the Cab Franc and the Zinfandel in particular!

But I could have been drinking plain soda and not cared. The view was spectacular! We have decided where our 20th anniversary party will be for sure!!!

The most delectable wine selection, breathtaking views, and warmest hospitality. Book your wine tasting appointment when you
can, it was such a great experience for my family and I!

Wonderful winery to visit if you are looking for an off the beaten path place with excellent wines and beautiful views of the Sierra foothills. Well worth the effort to get there.
