Went for Sunday brunch. Nice casual ambience and the service matched creating a relaxed atmosphere. Menu had a good broad set of options from seafood to sandwiches. We started with the coconut shrimp and hummus. Shrimp were crispy on the outside and tender within. Main selections of crab cakes and scallops were cooked and seasoned well with a pepper based seasoning that was very flavorful. Accompaniment of bread was nice

This is a beautiful store with an extended hip and cool cafe. Nestled in the midst of a beautiful shopping mall you will find everything you need to take a break, kick your feet up and have a lovely lunch with your friends or by yourself. The atmosphere is lively, open air and energized.

Our servers were intentional with service and style.

The food was delicious. Artful is a huge bonus. Food that looks good then tastes good, better best is the expectation one might have with Tommy Bahama experience.

I had the "World Famous Coconut Shrimp" which was placed on a vinegar sauce slaw and a sweet sauce. My friend visiting from Seattle, WA was hugely impressed with "Crab Salad."

Just look at these pictures. The nice thing is you get a feeling that you are eating, not just good food, but making healthy choices. They seem to make a healthy selection of their produce because I'm allergic to a lot of pesticides and had no reactions.

Ten years ago, my wife and I celebrated our wedding dinner at Tommy Bahama Restaurant in Newport Beach, CA. Returning for our 10-year anniversary, we were eager to relive those cherished memories. The quality of food and service continues to impress, maintaining the high standards we remember. However, the recent renovation, while modern, has shifted away from the darker, woodsy ambiance we fell in love with. This new aesthetic, though elegant, lacks the cozy charm of the original decor we preferred. During our visit, we mentioned our special connection to the restaurant, hoping for a little extra acknowledgment of our milestone. While nothing special was done in this regard, the overall experience was still thoroughly enjoyable. Tommy Bahama remains a top choice for its culinary excellence and attentive service, even as we miss the old vibe that once made it unique to us.

Absolutely loved my first meal at Tommy Bahama. Everything that I imagined. Unique and flavorful drinks and food, complimented with exceptional service. For my 53rd birthday, we drove up from San Diego (Oceanside). We started with the Brussels sprouts, coconut cloud and the Mai tai. Followed by the holiday drink with pear-something and a boss nova. For lunch we had the crab cakes and the grilled chicken and mango salad. Followed by a complimentary half -slice of key lime pie. Everything was fantastic. We also heard that the coconut shrimp was fantastic, but we just didn’t have room. Highly recommend Tommy Bahama Restaurant. Our server was very helpful when we were figuring out what to eat and drink. And the assistant GM was very friendly. It was also nice to do a little shopping after our meal. The drinks were “well proportioned” so it was nice to burn a few minutes before I had to drive. (Almost forgot to mention that the key lime pie surpassed our taste-bud experience when we were at the Key Lime Pie Company (after Marcus Lemonis took over)).

The food and atmosphere were wonderful and felt like we were not in California. They have a special menu and regular menu, both were different from what i was expecting, so many tasty things i wanted to try.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. The service was incredible!! My Caesar salad and the bread was very enjoyable.

I saw negative reviews, so we were hesitant to go, but generally love Tommy Bahamas' restaurants...so we took a chance. The food wasgreat as usual...I especially love the Thai shrimp/scallop dish. The asparagus was very well prepared. I can't forget the fresh hot bread! Our server was very attentive.

Cindy our server received us with a beautifully warm and amazing attitude. Her service was excellent, never intrusive nor did we ever feel rushed to eat and the restaurant needing to turn the table.
Our food selections were absolutely delicious. We ventured and tried their Ahi Tacos appetizer; perfect and scrumptious! The seasoning was spot on! My husband’s Crab Cakes and my Thai Shrimp and large scallops- were a seafood lovers dream! All excellent.

The food's always good, straightforward without trying too hard. But it’s the little extras and the vibe that keep me coming back. If you're in Newport Beach, it's worth stopping by. They manage to make each visit feel like they're glad to see you, which is pretty rare.

Great food! The filet mignon was so tender I was able to cut it with a butter knife! I'm not a big fish person, however the breaded halibut was very good as well as the asparagus. Mahi Mahi tacos and seabass was a hit too.

First time here, food was delicious, and service was exceptional from the manager Todd, who took excellent care of us right from the start!

Great lunch outdoors even though a bit cool. The heaters they provided were wonderful and made the lunch awesome. Large portions and varied menu.

One of my favorite places in Orange County for a casual dinner, great food/cocktails inside bar and outside patio. It feels like the orange county vibe like you're chilling in a friend's backyard for dinner. I highly recommend making reservations, unless you want to wait up to an hour.

It’ been a long time to have great food and drinks/cocktails together at the same place. Everything was great. Only disappointment was the patio, expected to see colorful vivid backyard but of course it is not deal breaker. I will definitely come back that place. Thanks for the delicious taste and cheerful service!

We had a very enjoyable lunch at Tommy Bahama's Restaurant. We sat at a high top table adjacent to the bar which was a very good location for our lunch. All of the doors were open and the temperature was perfect for a Fall day.
We ordered the Coconut Crusted Crab Cakes as a shareable appetizer and they were well made and properly cooked. Just enough crab meat and little filler.
Our main course was a tough decision because of all of the options to choose from. We selected the Filet Mignon Tacos (cooked medium) and they provided an excellent taste experience.
Service for us was spot on and the atmosphere was enjoyable.
We'll be back soon with the family.

For place that sells decent clothes food and drinks were not bad. Maitai is really good.
