Zubie's Dry Dock

My first time at Zubie’s , food was good and ready fast! The blue cheese dressing tastes hone made. They give you real top quality butter for your baked potato. My friend said they cooked her salmon perfectly, it sure looked delicious! My friends said there used to be a huge fish tank and salad bar when they used to go there a few years ago. A salad bar would have been really nice but the plandemic seems to have caused restaurants to get rid of their salad bars, which is really sad. Anyway, I would definitely eat at Zubie’s again!

Came in around 6PM on a Monday. Place was still not crowded (did get more crowded a little later). Ordered the Pizza special. Huge size pizza. Crust was fresh and there were a lot of toppings. The only item I would change would be for the sauce to be a little more spicy. Overall, great deal and will be back

This is not a 5 star fancy restaurant but it is a great family restaurant, as casual as you would like it to be. I've been supporting this place since they were located in Costa Mesa and I remember sometimes it used to get so crowded but the family and I didn't mind ... it was part of the whole experience!
My favorite dish used to be steak and lobster but nowadays a 22oz rib eye is my thing. You can't go wrong visiting this place, but keep in mind that if you like to be served at your table they don't offer that kind of service, you must wait in line to place your order and do the same at the bar for your drinks ... in my case "I don't mind that at all" . They have several TV monitors so you can enjoy sports and the place is big enough for you to enjoy your space. Huge parking lot in front of the restaurant is a good commodity specially if you are a numerous group.

Talk about your great local places to hang out. Zubies is it! It's the ultimate. Very friendly service. Great menu. Very generous servings. Good family atmosphere. No flaws whatsoever.

This was my first time ever going here, and I loved it. Their menu is extensive. If you can't find something you like here, then you have some serious issues and should probably stay home for the rest of your life. They have everything from pizza and pasta, to burgers and steaks, to tacos of all types, to all kinds of seafood and other sandwiches. The menu is truly a bit of everything and their prices are reasonable for what you get. We were with quite a big party, and I was blown away at how fast our food was cooked and prepared. Their kitchen is ON POINT because they were packed on a Friday night at 6:30 pm. Their oysters were delicious, and the raw horseradish they have is EPIC. I'm 95% sure it is Atomic brand horseradish, but I forgot to ask. They've got a bunch of arcade games the kids can play while the adults enjoy some beverages, and they have a full bar so you can get whatever you want to drink. Keep up the great work Zubies! I will be back here next time I'm in the area FOR SURE!

Fantastic food, Fantastic prices,... And a fantastic atmosphere I recommend it for the whole family

Service was slow tonight. Got a everything pizza which was sub par had to pick all the salami off the pizza as it was over cooked tasted bad and smelt spoiled. other than that the pizza was ok my wife and daughter liked the fish n chips they got and my sister barely ate her ribs special. I usually get better quality food when I go there, so was disappointed. when I talked to the manager, he was friendly and admitted they were busy and it is no excuse offered to make it right so this will not deter me from coming back. no restaurant is perfect all the time.

Laid back, strong drinks, fresh fish, generous portions, great customer service, clean, family friendly and affordable. Never disappoints. Had guest from central coast intoen and they wanted to go back for lunch the next day and we did. During our 2 visits we had ahi sandwiches, Mahi sandwiches, chiopinno, patty melts, house salads, bloody marys and pitchers of draft beers.

Old and rustic looking this place has never been updated inside. That is the part of their charm. The food is delicious and the drinks are strong. A hidden local secret.

Super fun place- can seat a lot of people! Huge variety of food - something for everyone: fish, burgers, steak, salad, tacos, alcohol, etc

The fish tacos were amazing. The nachos can easily feed 2 people. I was a little confused walking in for the first time. Two different lines to place orders (depending on what you are ordering). I had to walk up to one read the menu and then walk to the other to read that menu. So, it's not new customer friendly. Now that I know I will be able to navigate through the ordering process much easier. I would recommend to others without hesitation.

Menu is massive and all good. Atmosphere is awesome for a casual night out with people who like to eat and drink. Highly recommend for food and drinks when you can’t decide on something.

This place has not changed in 20 years, except for the aquaria, they no longer exist. However, the food is good, especially if you're on a budget. The portions are plenty big and will satisfy any hungry belly. Kids friendly

I always get takeout here on some weekends Great place BBQ Chicken pizza is highly recommended, Pepperoni Pizza could be better if the cheese wasn’t so thick. I believe for all their pizzas in general the cheese is to thick. Calamari Fajita tacos are Deeeelicious 😋

Great value. Moderate prices, but huge amount of food! Try the daily specials - they are awesome.
