Sanduche de Lomito with spicy chimichurri…..delicious!!!! Always hits the spot!! Freshly made, always cooked to perfection.

I forgot to add, the location looks a little sketchy. Windows are boarded up, but, don’t be afraid. Walk inside and you’ll see a small market filled with Colombian, Peruvian, and Argentinian imported food products and the small restaurant to the side.

Puerto Madero presents itself as a mercado latino & carniceria, and delivers on both. There are shelves organized by country with products from Colombia, Spain, and of course Argentina, among others. In the back a small meat market has the many cuts of cow and sausages necessary to make your very own home parrillada.

One shelf is entirely devoted to different types of yerba mate, the strong preference of most in Argentina for their caffeinated morning beverage. In the back a few cases display freshly baked breads and sweets.

At the top of the sandwich list is a slightly odd choice for an Argentinean market. The chivito ($9.99, above and below) is the unmistakable national dish of Uruguay, an always impressive stack of foods caught between bread.

The civito is the sandwich to get! So delicious. Also empanadas are good with the chimichuri sauce!

This place offers good Argentinan food. I only had the empanadas which were fabulous along with the selection of hot or regular Chimichurri. I can't wait to go back and order pepperoni pizza with green olives. Really nice staff with a huge store.

Their food is absolutely delicious! Everything I have had there is good and made fresh! Gets busy during lunch so make sure you get there quick to get your order in if you are on a time table

I love their empanadas. You can buy them cooked or not cooked with no tax. Then, finish cooking at home

Everything in the deli section is very tasty from the Argentinian empanadas, sandwiches, pastries...the meat section has great meat Argentinian cut style, they also have a variety of South American produce and the staff is very friendly!

Small, family run market with everything Argentine you could want. I wenr to get.empanada wrappers and found at least 6 different types and brands.

While the products are quite high on certain items I appreciate the aspect of a wide variety of products even with the size that they are. For example I've been looking for canned calamare in its ink for a long time here in oc. Well they have it.... But where you would normally pay roughly $2.50 for the small can size of a sardine can they charge $4.50. But if you want it you'll pay the price and I did. I can see $1.00 price difference but $2.00 is going a bit far. Meat is highly priced, I was dissapointed in that. But it's the closest market where you can get our products here in OC instead of having to go to LA County. Glad they were in Google

Sandwich had fresh lean beef spiced with flavorful herbs sauce. Unique, nongreasy and yummy! Lots of local people go.

I go here often for.breakfast.
They have some great sandwhiches and empanadas and the coffee is yummy.Love the ladies that work there. They are very nice and respectful.

I love everything about this place. Good food and meats. You have to try the south American suits they sell. Or the empanadas!!

Hole in the wall with good empas and sandwich de entraña, lomito... And they'll make them salads too. Argentine and other south America Staples. Yerba, tapas, dulce de leche etc. Dueño Uruguayo piola

They serve you with a good attitude and are always willing to help. The food is delicious.

The best Empanadas in town, fast service, it's a little market they sell stuff from Argentina, Brazil and Peru, they also have a kitchen there too you can sit there and eat, my favorites are Beef Impenadas.

I like the empanadas and great sandwiches. All the food is delicious. Also, I like the good selection they have on products from latinamerica.
