Mr Buck's Liquor

My roommate's go to liquor store. I tend to be the "gopher", so l deal with Mr. Bucks often. Friendly customer service. Owner and his wife are awesome. Perfectly located on way home for us. Lately, a ramen place has been filling up the parking area so parking can be limited at peak times for the ramen place. There's plenty of parking in the rear ramen lovers! Won't be surprised if Mr Bucks and Lil Pickle Subs designate parking for their business soon.

One of the only shops that had a supply of toilet paper in the beginning of this quarantine, and likely the first to give priority to seniors on rare products.
Then true to his game, early onhad full compliance with safe distancing, including hand sanitizer by the entrance. He even supplied my Amazon employed wife with a complimentary mask before they did.
He had and has a full supply of masks, gloves, and sanitizers.

And yes it is true they cannot accept credit cards that aren't in your name or without ID
Happens to us also, it's not him trying to be difficult or selectively not taking your card.
It's because our wandering locals here use alot of stolen cards... so blame them...

They got lots of neat stuff--liqour, chips, poprocks, Arizona teas, cactus cooler. Cashier is always super friendly. Plus, they have a life-sized cutout of The Rock and it is very cool.

The best liquor store in Costa Mesa. Family owned. Friendly! Good selection of wine.

Nothing pairs better with lil pickle than a root beer from this place. Their pop selection is crazy for a liquor store!

You can find mostly of everything. But the tequila should be more cheaper they charging $100 for a small bottle of the tequila that would cost least $30 or so!
