So I had an appointment scheduled on a Thursday @12pm and this place is a 2 hour drive from my city. When we showed up he wasn’t there so I called asking if it’s okay that I was 20 minutes early but he thought that my appointment was for Friday, not Thursday. I explained to him that I had said Thursday so he showed up shortly after. It turned out that he didn’t have the car on him and that it was 30-45 minutes away in Anaheim. I didn’t realize that this guy is actually a broker not an actual used dealership, which I was fine with but I wasn’t aware when I inquired about the car. He told us that we can sit around and wait for the car to show up but I told him to just call me when it gets there and we’ll come back. Decided to go look at other cars nearby in the meantime. The car arrives around 1:30pm which was an hour and a half later than my actual appointment. I head back over, the car looks good, we do a test drive, and we come back and look at how much financing would be. I was happy with the car and decided to go through with it so I head over to the bank to process my car loan. He told me that he would get the car washed and fill up the tank in the meantime. Turns out that he wasn’t able to get it washed but said he would zelle me after I take it home and get it washed. He then texted me saying he had to drop a client off elsewhere but since the bank took about it hour it wasn’t much of a big deal. When we got back he mentioned that he didn’t fill up the tank and he would “discount” my down payment which he didn’t so he said he would just zelle me when I fill it up. After leaving and filling up the tank I sent him a photo of the price of the gas and he asked if my zelle was my phone number which I verified that it was but then I never received a zelle payment for it. I also had to get the oil changed as soon as I could because it was way overdo by about 4k miles. All in all, I love the car and I’m happy with it but it’s a bit disappointed that none of this was taken care of when the vehicle was handed off to me. One of the nice things about getting a new car is having it cleaned, filled with gas, and everything is in good shape. I also had to shell out a lot more money at once then I would’ve needed to if it was already taken care of.
