Retro Games Plus

It's a cool little store that felt nice to be in. As with any retro store the price varies game to game, but for some of the games we bought the price felt so low I was in awe. The employees were helpful and friendly when I need help with something. I would love to go back and give the shelf's another look for more games.

Stopped by this lil gem in HB. I was in awed of all the RETRO goodies they have to offer (WOW). A great variety of all systems and game's. If your looking for some rare stuff this is the place to go. They have other good stuff besides games too. Go see for yourself. I met Jacob Asst Mgr. Very welcoming, friendly, honest, knowledgeable and received Excellent Customer Service. I came in to sell some game's and received really good good fair prices for them. I will be back again and letting my friends know.

Workers there are pretty cool. I love the huge Nights sign they have displayed, probably my favorite sign in any game store I've seen. Their game selection is good, but they have some really good games that are mixed in with filler/trash games out on the floor that they should probably put in the glass case otherwise people might overlook them.

The lady at the register is very friendly and considerate, We will definitely coming back!!! Thanks again.

Best video game store I ever been to. it’s really nice inside i even got a copy of Cabela’s big game hunter 2010

Went in to see if they could clean an NES cart I was unable to get working, which the staff did, and for free! I ended up sticking around and spending around $100, picking up some NES games, a Super Famicom Game, a boxed SNES game. The staff was super friendly, and definitely live up to the LGBTQ friendly moniker. They seemed to massively expand their stock as well, last time I don't think I saw any comic books. They even had old X-Men cards from the 90s I used to collect.

I highly recommend this place.

For my son‘s birthday he decided he absolutely had to have a Sega genesis. Or the “OG” sega as he called it. I got it here for less than half the price it was going for online. Also they were the nicest coolest people. Sorry for dealing with my kids craziness running around the store you guys are awesome thank you so much! I’m sure I’ll be back soon.

There’s some good stuff here for reasonable prices. I’m working on an Atari 2600 collection and I found several cartridges I do not have. I plan to keep checking back with them to see if they come across anything else I need. They have games and even consoles and accessories for pretty much any retro system. There’s even some games in the package still in mint condition. I want mine to play, but if a display case is your thing, give them a shot.

Great store with a more local, less corporate vibe! They let their employees choose their own music and the atmosphere is professional but relaxed. My first visit I was looking for a discontinued xbox one controller (the new ones are too clicky) and after describing my dilemma to Jacob he understood immediately what I was looking for and clearly presented the available pre owned controllers that suited my needs. I wasn’t planning on any other purchases but he offered to hold my selection at the counter and invited me to check out the store and the courtesy did prompt me to peruse. I was surprised by the VHS section and the unique comic, video game, movie memorabilia from a wide range of eras. Walked away with a reasonably priced Blu-Ray and I’ve been very happy with my pre-owned controller.

Jacob is a great example Of employee service and has the best recommendations on what games you want for every subject

Yo you guys if you're in to games retro games Nintendo Atari super Nintendo Sega you guys in my age group know who you are if you haven't played games for a long time and you want to get back into it or just grab a bite of that old nostalgic feeling this is the spot to go and not only do they have inventory but the people there are kind, courteous, appreciative of the business and super helpful. I found this place a couple years ago. They've grown. They have a second store in Lawndale and they take care of their customers. Stop going to GameStop. Come check this place out first, especially if you need accessories for older units. I had some issues with a Wii. They helped me out. They found what I needed. They had what I needed. I'm just saying do yourself a favor hit this place up. If not just to come in and check out what they got going on there it'll make you feel like a kid. Again thanks Christopher thanks Cameron, you guys are amazing!

Dropped off games and accessories. Had a pleasant experience with that. Not as much money as I expected, but more than what would have been offered elsewhere!
Great selection of items in store as well. I live across the street so it’s very convenient.

Very cool store. Came in with no idea what I needed to make my 64 work and the guy with face tattoos really helped me thank you.

Very nice shop. They have arcade games for you to play and there are even cards for sale. Nice selection of retro figures, and the person working was very nice. We had a nice chat.

Grate store. The staff is very helpful and friendly. My 9yr old loves the games that i grew up playing and they have a huge selection of rare and import games and systems. Its quite funny how stuff is popular then becomes obsolete and then comes back as vintage and the price goes up.

Good place for kids, adults and gamers.
Go spend your money here.

The store is clean, well organized and has a great stock. Video games, memorabilia, T-shirts, some vinyl, all fairy priced. VHS tapes, figurines, some comics. Plenty of parking and easy to find. Will come back to trade some games.

Retro Games Plus is a small store with a lot of stuff. It has everything retro, not just video games. There are of course video games from Atari up to PS5/Series X. There are VHS tapes, laser disk, vinyl, music cassettes, vintage toys, comics, trading cards, t-shirts, and pretty much anything vintage. It's a pretty cool place to check out.

Great place, got Sonic Adventure DX and Mario Sluggers resurfaced while I played on the SNES Display Machine!
Funny enough, that experience is why I fell in love with the SNES.
