My latest purchase was at the Stockton store. We arrived early, before the sales floor opened. We had an appointment to have our car looked at and we planned on buying a truck while we waited. The sales team didn't arrive until 11'00. We were disappointed that we wouldn't be leaving with a new truck. A special employee (Monte) sitting at her desk saw how disappointed we were and stept up and took us to the truck we wanted. Sat us down and started the sale! We ended up leaving with our truck 2 hours before the store opened. I love Carmax! But, the Stockton store goes over and beyond customer service.

Best auto buying and selling experience with no pressure sales tactics.We were immediately greeted by Oscar who helped and guided us through the whole process. He was very professional and knowledgeable of the inventory at hand making. My girlfriend ended up purchasing a used 2018 Infinity Qx30 that had to be delivered from their Burbank location. We had it set aside on a Saturday afternoon and it was available by Tuesday and finished the deal in less than 2 hours.

A week later, I said goodbye to my beloved Jeep Wrangler. I had received a prior offer and decided to go in and finish the deal later that week. Selling my car was even easier. I handed them the offer I had received, I was still within the 7 day period. The only wait time I had was waiting for one of the desks to open up. Once a desk or booth came available the process took only 15 min to complete, I received all pertinent paperwork, and a check for my offer. Hassle free, no pressure, no lies. We would definitely come back and purchase or sell another vehicle here.

Took my car here to sell it and they gave me actual Blue book value. It was on the lower end of Blue book, but considering that carvana and other places will try to give you wholesale or less. It's much better than most places that you can quickly sell your car to. You'll never get private party rates for your car, but they do a better job than most places.

Very friendly staff. The offer was reasonable. The process was easy and straightforward as well. All in all a very good experience. I will sell my other cars at Carmax in the future too.

Our first time with CarMax and it was such a good experience that all future car purchases for our family will be made with CarMax. Our Salesperson was excellent but so were all the staff. Efficient, attentive and great follow through. CarMax sets the standard for Customer Service.

The two cars I was interested in were brought in from more distant Carmax locations. In my opinion this service is a big plus. The test drive experience was smooth and stress free with no salesperson in the car. (Although I would have liked another 10 minutes) Ultimately, I chose the car with fewer options and lower mileage.
