Seiwa Market

From the outside, I thought they wouldn't have much inside, but they have way more than I expected and are definitely worth checking out. They have fresh produce and a bakery, dairy cases, pretty extensive frozen foods and cold cases, a section with prepared foods including fresh sandiwches, rolls, and handrolls. The meat selection is amazing with beautiful specialty cuts of beef, pork, and seafood at great prices. There are so many flours, grains, oils, vinegars, spices and seasonings and tons of snacks and sweets. All at great prices and a friendly staff. I'll definitely be back!

I love this place. This is where I go before work and during my lunch time for their fresh sushi and poke bowls. I also love their sandwiches. The cashiers are really nice as well. This place is super clean.

Love this Japanese grocery store. It's always clean, the produce section is great. I love coming here for the meat selection. They have great prices. The service is also always great. They give you the option to use their boxes instead of purchasing grocery bags.

Seiwa is a no frills Japanese market. I prefer to come here for most of my Japanese items. The selection is at a minimum but I feel are enough general core items including their vegetables, fruits, meat, and seafood for sushi. If you're just looking for Japanese snacks and drinks, Seiwa is a great market for it.

Went here for my birthday today to get stocked up on Japanese food to make at home. This place is great. The staff is really cool. It’s clean and well organized. I was impressed. I’ve lived in Japan and I found apple tea in a vending machine there and got hooked on it. Could never find it here until today and I found it at this market. I was so stoked! The sushi and sashimi is awesome. So fresh and the taste and flavor is amazing. The prices are great too. I picked up the sashimi platter. They have more than just food. I highly recommend Seiwa Market in Costa Mesa!!!!

Great selection of meat - the Angus and wagyu are fantastic and prices are reasonable. Tons of snacks and a really nice produce section with a lot of fresh seasonal options.

it's a Japanese grocery with competitive pricing. I've never seen the like and never expected to. Sushi is good, especially after it's 20% off.

Great selection on the Japanese spices and dried goods. I was so excited. They do not have the wide range of bento box (I went there on a weekday so they may have more during the weekends) but the quality was pretty good!!! I shall be back!

Love this place! Seiwa is a Japanese market, and they have a great variety of Japanese foods from produce to snacks and frozen goodies. I prefer this place over other Asian supermarkets in the area like Tokyo Central and Ranch 99. I was able to find some Japanese snacks that I couldn’t find anywhere else! It was super nostalgic for me. I got some ingredients to make okonomiyaki and can’t wait to eat it this week. :)

I love here,because of the Natto,good price. Friendly people here.

Wow, Yellow watermelon, Best Hot Sauce & Sake too! ...wait it gets way better!! I'm not kidding every person in that store was sociable, super friendly & even asked us if we wanted boxes to pack our stuff!

We love the assorted Poke we grabbed from the one of the open fridges across the cashiers. Fresh proteins, quality rice and good temperature. One of our top food for summer.

Parking was super easy even on weekends afternoon, the store is bright, clean and highly organized. Items are easy to find. Cashiers are always polite and friendly. Their bento variety and options is not as extensive as Tokyo central. But, I always get their kaisen don Chirashi. It's always super fresh and very tasty. Seiwa always have weekly sale or deals happening, the sale ads are also posted online as well.

The store is always stocked and clean. There's a wide variety of choices. The staff are friendly and helpful.

This store had been remodeled since my last visit, and it is much improved.

Well stocked with a good selection of Japanese (and other Asian) grocery items. Big frozen food selection. Many premade refrigerated items, canned coffee drinks, nice produce section, more Asian sauce products than I've ever seen in one store.

Delicious looking baked goods (but I don't think there's a bakery onsite). So much more. I enjoy walking the aisles here.

In and out in the flash no big lines fresh stuff all looks great check out the sushi when you're in there

Seiwa Market held a Hokkaido ramen fair. They sold different ramen styles that Hokkaido is known for. They also sold sea food like sea urchin and ikura (salmon eggs). The fair is only being held her from 09/02/23 to 09/04/23

Many varieties of oriental snacks, fresh fruits, meats, vegetables, and frozen foods. The prices are reasonable, and the service I recieved was extremely friendly. I recommend everyone explore Seiwa Market offerings, I'm sure you'll find it an interesting experience.

I love this little grocery. Very accessible to the nearby neighborhoods and great selection of products. I love getting everything I need and picking up an already prepared meal as well.
