unique nails and spa

I sadly had to leave for college, but looking for a new nail place I am realizing how lucky I was.

My go to lady was Cathy! She is the nail lady for all the younger girls and guys who want the cool nail shapes. She slayed me with the coffin, square, tapered square, almond, and regular shapes. She spends a good amount of time on my nails, but not as long as some of the other ladies in the nail place. She also asks if I like the shape before she moves onto the buffing of the powder, which I REALLY appreciate (there is nothing worse than not seeing the nail shape till after, so they cannot fix what you do not like).

I had another lady do my nails bc Cathy was busy and she and I did not click haha, but I called back saying the nails were smeared and did not look good and Tina (the manager) offered to personally redo them (which she did and did not charge me and was refusing to take my tip, but I made her). So if you are dissatisfied, please just call and they will fix it (usually for no cost).

Tina- the manager is the lady you want for the designs, she KILLS it with her amazing work. I am not a design nail girl, but I have never been dissatisfied with my nails from Tina.

All in all if you are going to get acrylic and you have a specific vision PLEASE do yourself a favor and go to Cathy, she is my homegirl and I wish I could have taken her with me to college:(

ALSO my full set (no gel bc my nails grow so fast so I stopped getting gel bc I would end up getting fills every 2 weeks) is only $22???? Like how can you beat that price??? The only chipping I have ever experienced has been on my toes (and it was with only one color) and I work in a restaurant so my hands are CONSTANTLY being washed and used.

The light pink nails were after two weeks of me having them, so they have been a little beat, but the red were for prom and the purple is me and my sister (they are so nice and gentle with her even though she is six and moves a lot haha). Some of my favorite nails!

Love this place since I found it a few years ago. Techs are highly skilled. They can do any design you want. I do dip powder on my nails and it is so durable that it lasts up to a month if I let it. Staff is great and friendly. They are really busy but worth trying to fit in. They are thorough and nail shaping is the best in Orange. I tried nearly all nail salons in Orange, New and old and no one compares or has the skill level as Unique Nail staff.

Tina is great!! 1st time getting a gel manicure and I could not be more impressed. If you're picky like I am and need to fully express your concerns or specifics, make an appt with Tina! She'll take care of you! Never knew my nails could look so nice <3
$9.00 for nail polish (regular manicure) and $20 for gel nails which last 3-4weeks!
