Edgar and his team have gotten me out of numerous plumbing jams and each time presented me with options, educated me on the pros/cons, and worked thoroughly. He’s done both commercial and residential work for me and each time, he’s consistent with quality, timeliness, and service.

They were fast and efficient, got the job done. They were a le to come out the same day I called!!

Although it appears the work done was of adequate quality (install angle stop and toilet, install water heater, both at different times) what makes the rating one star is massive overcharging for the water heater installation.

I was given a proposal of $350 to install a water heater if I bought the water heater myself and, presumably, brought it to the house. Frankly I thought $350 a bit high but I did have the opportunity to negotiate - which I, regretfully, didn't do.

Additionally, I was given a proposal of $1100 for them to buy the water heaater and install it.

Foolishly, I agreed to the latter, the $1100 option. The water heater was purchased at Home Depot (by the plumbers) and installed in about an hour. Although reluctant to give me the purchase receipt, I insisted and was given an image of the receipt. The water heater itself cost less than $600 so the labor they charged was over $500 for two workers for about an hour. Now I don't mind paying for professional services, but obviously I was played here and will never use Ocho Plumbing again, for fear of being radically overcharged again.

Once again, the installation seems to have been competently accomplished. My concern is for their knowingly overcharging me to complete the project.

Called them this morning and the person that answered was beyond rude and ended up hanging up on me. Called a different plumber and now my heater is fixed with no problems or rudeness.
