Spoons @ Ayres is a hidden gem and outstanding value for the hotel quests and the surrounding community. The meals are phenomenal and the service is excellent and second to none. Truly a first class experience. Shout out to Chef 👨🏻‍🍳 Omar! He is an amazing and talented chef who is only going to continue to shine ✨. The cocktail 🍸🍷🥃🍺 hour is also top shelf!

I can not say enough good things… Omar is the BEST. He remembered me from one time dining and asked about my mother and daughter. He made the perfect Margarita and the tequila pasta… YUM!

Omar's Spoon's restaurant service is exceptional. The menu is excellent however my favorite .The guacamole recipe, prepared with fresh cilantro and lime, exudes a truly authentic and invigorating flavor.

This was a welcome surprise after three very long days in Orange. It was nice to come "home" to the the Ayres Hotel and Spoons Bar and Grill. Even with so many food options in the area, Spoons was a perfect way to unwind. It was like having your own personal chef. Omar was very accommodating, helpful, and friendly. Next time I am in Orange, I will be staying at the Ayres Hotel and will have Omar take care of my dinners.

What a wonderful surprise. We stayed at Ayres and went to Spoons for Ribeye Tacos and fish & chips. The food was hot and full of flavor. The service was fast and friendly. By the end of the meal, we were already talking about what we would order next time. Tip: Say yes to the guac!

We ate here and loved the food. Everything we ordered was fresh and tasty. The teriyaki mushroom burger was soo good. Big meat patty and yummy sauce with big fresh leaf lettuce. The nachos were soo good. Fresh toppings and real melted cheese. The buffalo crispy chicken salad was soo good. Fresh crispy lettuce and ingredients with tasty mix of flavors. The pepperoni pizza was homemade and came out on a big pan. You can tell nothing is frozen.

The tradeoff: you have to wait along time for your food. We sat what seemed like 45 mins for our food. We loved the food so that deadened our frustration ultimately, but if service was faster it would make this place a absolute home run!

Best food and drinks at a hotel restaurant in awhile. Highly recommend!

I had the miss fortune of ordering a pizza. The $25 single topping pizza was hands down the worse pizza ever. The crust was dry and the pizza tasted like cardboard. There is no doubt this was a cheap frozen pizza and not made fresh.
I would strongly suggest not wasting your time or money at this place. The fact it doubles as the hotels buffet breakfast location should have been a hint to avoid it.
Little Ceasars is a huge improvement over this place.

Sadly I have to be the one to do the first 1 star review as the service I received was horrible. I tried to call in an order for take out so I wouldn't need to wait in the restaurant for a long time but the first time I called no one picked up then the second time I did someone did pick up but didn't even try to get my order just questioned me instead of having at least a tiny percent of a care for having a job at all 😮‍💨 I don't know what was wrong with them but, because of that I had to make sure people are aware of the possibility of bad service like that if you want to be efficient with your time.
