Avis...I love...they are so easy to set up my car rental. I get a good price..Ive rented a mustang and challenger recently. Customer service at John Wayne Airport in CA are terrific.

Once I worked out that they could accept debit cards at John Wayne airport everything went smoothly. I booked a GPS Navigation device but returned it as it didn't know my hotel so I used my phone which was brilliant. I had a wonderful days with the car Chevy Malibu and no problems at all.
One suggestion would be to say what type of gas was needed. I had to google it.

We rented a car from Avis at John Wayne Airport, and I would definitely do it again. The rental, pickup, and drop-off process was extremely easy. Plus, a major plus was the line for Avis was MUCH shorter than Budget. We were in and out in a new 2023 Dodge Durango in 10 minutes. The price range was also great. Highly recommend!

I rented a John Wayne. I always Rent Avis Preferred. At most locations I just go to my car, but this place was tighter and construction was going on. There were plenty of agents for a 'manual assist' and I waited only a couple of minutes. Darlene was kind and fun to work with, and put us in a great Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Phil and the Avis team at the Santa Ana airport were just the icing on my trip to California. This was my first time traveling to the West Coast. I had some anxiety about being in an unfamiliar place but Phil was super welcoming and professional. I felt so at ease and my trip was fantastic from beginning to end. I'm choosing Avis every time.

The Avis at John Wayne Santa Ana provides fast service and the team is friendly and helpful. When I returned my car I left my coat on the back seat and was in the TSA when I notice that I forgot it. I ran back to Avis and several staff members tried to assist me. They made sure I received my coat in enough time to make my flight. Thanks Santa Ana Avis Team!!!

Steven was my rep, he provided A+ customer service. The entire team from Avis were very friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend using their services if you need a rental vehicle. Hertz and Alamo were a pain.

Last week I rented a vehicle at the Orange County airport AVIS for the first time. I am ALWAYS going to use this service when I travel. I love the easy airport access! Early on-line check in made the process quick and efficient. The car was super clean and rode beautifully. Returning to the airport was once again quick and efficient. Thank you AVIS for making my trip less stressful! I will be back!

Reservation process is smooth and easy. The staff at the airport pickup location were courteous and made sure I was properly taken care of, and most importantly, happy with my pickup process and car. To my surprise, when I mentioned about an upgrade offer the Avis website offered me to add to my reservation for small business, the staff member happily looked to see what was available and upgraded me to a Mustang GT 5.0. And then as usual, drop off process was easy, quick, and again I was greeted with friendly, happy, helpful staff. Needless to say, I really enjoyed my rental car and the people at Avis / John Wayne Airport.

I picked up my rental from LAX and returned at John Wayne airport. Avis rental car experience here was 100 times better than LAX.

When I noticed my assigned rental had high mileage (over 40K), I requested at the counter if i could exchange with another one with lower mileage. The staff member was super helpful and offered me several to choose from!

My first time renting from Avis. Only my 2nd time of ever renting a vehicle. I was extremely happy with my rental experience from Avis and will definitely rent from them in the future.

The vehicle we received was extremely dirty inside, especially on the right front passenger dashboard and door window. It appeared that a drink had been spilled and left a sticky residue behind. We ended up cleaning it ourselves to ensure that our belongings weren't soiled. The worst part was the body damage on the right side of the rental vehicle. It ran from just in front of the rear wheel well to the front edge of the front passenger side door. The damage had caused a misalignment to the door to the point that it would catch on the right front quarter panel when the door was opened and closed.

Helped quickly. Wait was under 5 mins. Walk down the stairs from term 4 don’t go to the arrival level desk. It is unmanned. Quick check out process and easy getting the car and leaving.

Holiday car rentals is a tricky business. I was offered an electric car to travel 450 miles. I rejected the EV car. The option was a Dodge Charger. Wasn’t totally satisfied, but it turned out to be mostly excellent. Sometimes chance is better than a planned activity.

Great experience all because of Mary at the front desk! My wife and I felt very well taken care of and definitely will be using in the future. Thanks!
