I was just discharged from Orange Coast Memorial Hospital after spinal surgery. This was the most pleasant hospital stay I have encountered in my life. The staff (from nurses, assistants, housekeeping, physicians) the consistency in care and communication were amazing. My room was very clean and comfortable (as comfortable as one can get after surgery). Every time I needed to press the call button it was immediately answered and my request was immediately taken care of. My questions were always answered in a way I could understand and I never felt rushed by the staff even though I know they were all very busy. It was definitely helpful during a stressful and painful procedure. I would recommend this hospital to anyone out there!

I had surgery yesterday at this hospital and I was so nervous. When we got there the greeting was so friendly. Walking to my pre-op place there must have been 5 or 7 people sat hi, good afternoon, how are you etc... I've had 6 surgery in 5 different hospitals and not one of them has been as nice or pleasant. Best Hospital ever!!!

Currently here with my mother for a planned surgery and I can honestly say this is the most pleasant experience. My mother has the most incredible nurse I've ever encountered, his name is Colin in the ICU and he really should be recognized for his talent and kindness. He is so patient and was wonderfully reassuring to my mom when she felt scared and discouraged. The bedside manner here is phenomenal with everyone we have been in contact with. Even the security guards are kind and friendly. Everyone is very encouraging, responsive, and I cannot be thankful enough that my mother is in their care. This place blows Hoag out of the water.

I would also like to recognize Kingsley, who cared for my mother on the night shift. Very kind and comforting and always making sure my mother had what she needed and was comfortable and clean.

I was in the hospital, including ICU for 7 days and not a single staff member was anything less than kind and compassionate. I’ve been in and out of hospitals a lot this past year and a half due to chronic health conditions and this is by far the best one I’ve been to. No one wants to be in the hospital. I remember crying a lot during my stay. But the care and compassion here at least makes it so that if I have to, I’d rather stay here than anywhere else. Thank you to the teams that cared for me, from the ER staff, to the telemetry staff, to the ICU staff, thank you for making my stay as comfortable as possible.

I came on Feb 22 to emergency for chest pain. The emergency staff was excellent and really busy with all the patients! I was transferred upstairs to Room 388B for continued care! The nurses and doctors were all so nice and making sure I had everything I needed! When signing out the lady was so helpful and getting my new medicine! The staff was amazing, thankful for their help and kindness shown to me! We became friends! I was released on Feb 23 around 5 PM. God Bless you as you have blessed me!!

I was treated for an "essential tremor" of the right hand by Dr. Binder and his team on 4/8/2024. The care and attention was unrivaled and the results were amazing. The whole team was respectful, caring, attentive and supportive. I can't thank them enough.

I recently had open heart surgery on 01-12-24, and spent 6 days at Orange Coast Memorial Center (Fountain Valley) in the ICU/ Telemetry units.

I was treated so well and with such kindness and compassion. It truly made the difference during a difficult time.

Dr. Hargrove and her entire staff are absolutely incredible. I can’t say enough about them. Orange Coast is very lucky to have them.

I also want to thank the nighttime nurse I had in the ICU the 2 nights following my surgery. Her first name was Mikayla. She clearly stood out as an outstanding nurse. You rarely come across people as exceptional as she is. I never had the chance to thank her and express my heartfelt gratitude for how she treated me.

I came in the emergency room to check in for bleeding and cramping while pregnant with my husband. Obviously I don’t are terrified. I just got my blood taken out by a sweet and hilarious nurse Tracy. People like her make me feel like I’m putting my health in the right hands. Please hire more people like her. She’s amazing and has excellent customer service. Definitely made me feel comfortable and at ease. I appreciate you!!!!!

I had a colonoscopy on 3/22. Staffs, Nurses and doctor were very nice and professional. Thank you very much for your help. Appreciated. Blessings to you all.

Rhonda and all the staff were very polite, knowledgeable, friendly and knew their jobs extremely well. A better hospital staff you could not find anywhere.

Spent one night there and found that the hospital was SUPER CLEAN and just as well managed. Nurses were very professional and very caring and concerned.
The rooms are extremely nice promoting a positive and quick recovery. It looked as if the entire hospital was either new or had been just recently remodeled- or just exceptionally well maintained! The hospital food was not “restaurant grade”, but better than I have experienced at other hospitals.
I came in via the Emergency Room. Fantastically managed, even though the ER waiting room was a little small. They seem to be remodeling to cure that. I was very very impressed with my on-staff doctor.
All in all, I have found that in the SOCAL area, hospitals have a WIDE MARGIN of quality. While I will not name the one-star hospital I experienced, THIS hospital is VERY NICE!

Came to the ER here and had a really good experience. The staff here are amazing and make you feel safe and welcome. They help make you feel comfortable and do their best to help accommodate your needs. The doctors are amazing as well. They're friendly and caring and help you through what it is you're going through. Very good experience overall and would definitely recommend!

Its been 2 years since my appendix burst , I entered thru the emergency room where I received rapid service and was rapidly diagnosed but I had to wait from 5PM until 1:30 AM for surgery. After 8 nights in the hospital I came home and all is fine. I’m sorry to post so late but I hope it is not too late to thank all the wonderful nurses and staff who cared for me. Hugs ! ! !

2/14/2024 5 Stars again and a big thank you to the 3rd floor staff and doctors who took care of me the night of 2/13 and the morning of 2/14. The room was excellent, both RNs were excellent and friendly and your team made me comfortable and confident that my irratic heart condition received the best attention possible. BIG HUGS …. and special wishes to the nurse who took my blood pressure after midnight and early Wed AM, your hard work is deeply appreciated. Thank you and best wishes ….

I had a meniscus cirjury on January 2024 and All the personal nurces and doctors are very friendly, helpful and very professional.

Absolutely phenomenal hospital! I’ve never felt more taken care of in any other facility! With my many visits in the last 3 months…all the way from the valet drivers, to the friendly security guards, admitting staff, attentive nurses, and caring surgeons facilitated with orange coast memorial. I was left very impressed. Thank you for the wonderful experience during my time of need.

I had to write a review, because the experience I had has stayed with me since I was in the ER a couple weeks ago. I had a health scare, and was nervous to go in given that I have largely experienced dismissiveness due to my age/gender when it came to other health issues. The doctors, nurses and staff I interacted with, were anything BUT dismissive. They listened, consoled me, comforted me and LISTENED. In an ER setting, that is RARE. I wish I would have gotten my main treating Doctors name because he was so nice and helpful with everything. Luckily- everything turned out to be fine. But my issues were still treated with urgency, seriousness and care. I can't reccomend this ER room enough.

I went to the ER on 12/23 because of a heart attack. I just want to praise the whole team who worked on me from the moment I got there until my release on 12/25. I was taken care of and I know I should’ve been scared, but I felt so at ease because of the great team who helped me. Thank you for all you did. Thank you to my nurses, Aurora in ICU and Joe after I left ICU all of you were amazing!

The Doctors and staff are very knowledgeable and spend the time you need to understand your needs. The sports doctor has helped me so much with his thorough questions and helping me find the right solution.

Thanks to Doctor Lee’s guidance I’m able to enjoy my sports and lifestyle.

The staff is so helpful and always upbeat and they go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable.

The facility is beautiful and they follow all of the health guidance to keep everyone at a safe distance.

Our friends are always in shock when we tell them how much we like going to the doctor.

Highly recommend this memorial care on beach Blvd.

The nurses and staff always have exceptionally good bedside manner, especially when dealing with my grandma, who has dementia & doesn't follow directions and is basically nonverbal. The doctors are caring and listen to you, unlike the judgemental & dismissive experiences I've had at other hospitals.

Great hospital staff! I have to commend the staff for taking care of me. Starting with Haley in the ER who was so helpful and attentive. Second was Cassie who was absolutely amazing. Cassie went above and beyond to help me obtain information that I needed. Cassie also kept me informed regarding all my tests that were going to be administered.

Special shout out to Dr Steele who was very personable and informative.
