Food - DELICIOUS!!! Asparagus soup is AMAZING!!! Burgers are soooo tasty, artichoke is perfection 👌 prime Rib, mac&cheese, Salads, honestly just about everything.
Staff is always friendly & attentive, mellow but fun place if you're just drinking, outdoor patio awesome with pups, enclosed patio awesome to watch sports. They always have weekly specials too! An absolute win of a spot!

This place is quickly becoming a favorite spot! Great food, service, prices and a cool vibe.

Last minute birthday breakfast for my hubby. We arrived shortly after 10am when they opened and the bar was packed. Probably a good thing because there ended up being 8 of us!

Got a nice table in the back with room to grow if we needed it. $12 bottomless mimosas!?! Heck ya! Boys got blood marys and they were decent!

I ordered a Monte Cristo sandwich but the Huevos rancheros that was on special caught everyone’s eye. Hubby wanted steak & eggs for his birthday so he was happy.

Also tried the soup of the day which was cream of potato. It lacked a bit of flavor so we definitely loaded it with Tabasco.

Our server, Ry, was awesome. Super friendly and personable.

Definitely a local spot but we’re gonna squeeze ourselves into becoming frequent fliers here!

As hounds who loves nothing more than a good outing to The Alley in Newport Beach, we can confidently bark about the pawsome experience it offers. The Pups on the Patio menu is like a smorgasbord of tail-wagging delights, with treats and snacks that cater to both human and canine palates. Woof!!! But what truly sets this place apart is the exceptional service. The servers, manager, and owner are like a pack of devoted pals, always ready with a scratch behind the ears or a hearty belly rub. It’s a place where dogs like us feel not just welcomed, but truly cherished. A woof-worthy experience, indeed!

We happen to be here on Tri-tip Tuesday. It was flavorful and tender. Exceptional. I also had the bacon cheese covered mash potatoes add on, it was wonderful. There is fun and interesting decor, ally cats painted on mural in ally out the large window. The restaurant was a little dark, but it was also a bar.

My family and I are from Tucson and were visiting Newport recently. My husband and I were able to sneak away for dinner and drinks one night of our vacation and this is the spot we found. I couldn’t have been more pleased and delighted with the service, atmosphere and the FOOD!! It was so amazing that we went again the next night as well and second time was just as perfect as the first! Altogether we tried: the swordfish with pilaf and veggies (amazing!), steak and asparagus (amazing!), veal piccata (aaaammmaazing!!), twice-baked potatoes (amazing and huge!), and crab cakes (AMAZING!!). In addition to the delicious food and generous portions, the staff was particularly pleasant, especially the bartender. Can’t wait to go back to Newport and this place!!

The Alley was one of the highlights of our trip to New Port Beach. With just steps away from our condo, my wife and I were able to sneak away from the kids a couple of nights during our stay and the food, service, and atmosphere were top notch. The bartender Stanton was awesome, he gave really great tips about the area and he made sure our drinks and stomachs were full.

Excellent service, the waitresses were amazing with our huge party. On top of things. Excellent food, the breakfasts were excellent. And bottomless mimosas

The Monte Christo is my favorite! This place did not disappoint. Add an old school side salad tossed with blue cheese and I’m in food heaven. My friend got the liver and onions and that was also delicious! Drinks were also great! All the stars!!

Really large portions and great tasting food! Fun old pub style atmosphere with dim setting and friendly staff. Our server Andrea did a great job and was super friendly. Highly recommended for a date with the wife or group. Food needed more salt but other than that had great flavor -- we ordered the prime rib sandwich and the pecan crusted trout. 🔥🙌

The food, and drinks are fantastic! But the exceptional service from the staff makes the experience. I suggest chicken picata chopped and tossed. Strongest poor on the shore!

I had heard about this place for a long time and finally decided to visit. it was at lunch during the week so it was very quiet but I sat on the patio and enjoyed the Oceanaire. I ordered a recommendation from the waitress and enjoyed it thoroughly. And the drinks were a little stiff too, yeah!!!

Great tasting food, friendly service! We went on new years and we got great brunch food and unlimited mimosa!! Very Delicious and well worth it!

The service, the food, can not be better. I originally saw this place on instagram for Sunday unlimited mimosas.. but was more intrigued with this feast. The bartender was fab. I was served quickly...food came to me hot and in a short amount of time. I was told about other specials throughout the week...it's a beautiful place right of PCH...clean and lots of pups on the patio.

I got the Monte Cristo sandwich which was very tasty and came with very good fries too. Giving 5 stars because it was the best tasting meal I had this week visiting the area. The beer options were more limited that I had hoped but I enjoyed the one I ordered. Service was adequate but unremarkable. The people I was eating with all enjoy their meals too.

Definitely coming back here for the bottomless mimosas! When you order they give you the champagne bottle, which is great, can drink without having to flag down the server. Only needed to flag down, to get another bottle.

Soooo good! The bottomless mimosas are ti die for and the brunch is great! Super cozy spot with great wholesome and filling food! Must try!

Fantastic for brunch and bottomless mimosas. Great outdoor patio. Indoors are very comfortable as well. Staff are welcoming, friendly, and fun. Food is delicious and filling. Highly recommend. Will definitely return again.

The Alley is wonderful! They have week night specials for dinner. Monday night is my favorite. Ribs and a side for $15. The ribs are so tender! Everything I've eaten here is super tasty! They have a pub burger that's out of this world!!
