Kevin and Steve once again provided excellent service for our 2020 Subaru Forester. They put in the extra effort to find the largely out of stock battery promptly in addition to checking the electrical system and doing the usual maintenance. This was important to us since it is our only car.

I came into Dr. J automotive thinking I needed a wheel bearing replacement. As soon as I pulled in Steve helped me and immediately pointed out the real issue which was the power steering system. After taking it in for some testing he called me back and told me that nothing needed to be replaced it was just really low on Power steering fluid!
Steve was very helpful and professional! I liked the open communication with him over the phone when I called for a quote and the amazing customer service when I brought my car in! He was straight forward and made everything simple and easy to understand would highly recommend to anyone I saved about $400! Thanks again!

I needed a new battery that I could trust for the wife's car that was good, but not wastefully pricey. They suggested a brand that I have not heard of, but it had a 5 yr warranty. I went for their recommendations because in the past 15+ years that I have been going to them they have usually steered me right. And as life is not perfect, when an issue popped up they back their work and recommendations in a very fair manner. Car batteries can always be a hit or miss situation, even with a known good brand... so, the clock has started and time will tell...

I heard about Doctor J's years ago through WORD OF MOUTH & am forever grateful for the introduction since I have a hard time fully trusting online reviews. Once you find a place you can trust, theres no reason to take your beloved car and safety anywhere else - I learned this lesson recently.

In short, I moved cities, got lazy, took my car to different local places for about a year or two, had tons of costly issues that then required more expensive work to unrelated components, and I never felt like I could trust the work since I kept having expensive UNRELATED issues that needed to be repaired ASAP when there were never issues before. THEN THE ENGINE LIGHT WENT ON!

Thats when I brought my beautiful 10 year old Betty the Jetta BACK to Doctor J's asking them make her safe to drive, and they fixed her back up with full attention to detail. I always leave their lot feeling grateful and confident that they provided flawless work, honest pricing, attention to safety, thorough communication, and education.
