The staff at Beach-Garfield Veterinary Hospital truly go above and beyond. Not only are they highly skilled professionals, but they also demonstrate a genuine love for animals in everything they do. Every member of the team, specially Dr. Cecile, as she showed a sincere interest in my pet's well-being and took the time to address all of my concerns.

This place is soooo great. So good to me and my dog, Jaco. Unfortunately, Jaco passed away a couple weeks ago. I just wanted to give a shout out to this vet for being such a blessing for Jaco and my family. About two years ago, Jaco was acting weird and, long story short, when I took him in, they found a mass on his spleen. They said I’d have to have it removed and so I spent a day shopping around to see what his best options were. The vet told me confidently, he could do it though. So he did… He gave him a spleenactamy right there at their clinic! I thought I’d have to go somewhere bigger and more expensive but they handled it in house. Unreal! Every time we went back there, Jaco was comfortable and happy to see the staff. So I know they treated him with love and care. It ultimately gave me an extra 2 years with my dog. Not to be so direct or corny but… I love you guys. Thank you so much. I appreciate you and everything you’ve done for us. It’ll be a little while before I get another dog but when I do, this might as well be the only vet in the world. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

This is the best vet hospital. I moved to Long Beach so I have been going, but I made the trip over there when I was quoted 2500 at a scammy vet near me (said she needed surgery for an abscess). At Beach-Garfield, they took care of my dog for ONE TENTH of that cost with conservative treatment and it worked great. I was hoping to see Dr. Alley, who my dog used to see there, and he was always fantastic. But he wasn't in and we saw a different vet (female, can't remember her name). She was wonderful too. They take great care of my dog at very reasonable prices. Love this place, highly recommend.

I took my cat there today. She had lost her tooth. The doctor was very thorough and took great care of my cat! What a wonderful staff. From the moment I walked in the door I felt at home and knew my cat would be taken care of! Thank you for an amazing experience.

So outstanding & amazing ! Finally I found great place that offers killer customer service, but top notch medical care ! I know it's so expensive. Regardless, I got my money's worth ! They're so through & offer all the necessary services to insure your pets good health & happiness ! Your pets deserve to receive the best care & feel great & it reflects on their mental well being ! you know it's difficult to have a good day when you're feeling below par ! It's the same for your pets ! The doctors there, transformed my 4 dogs into performing @ their peak ! I will take then in now every 6 mo. Prioritys in life have changed us ! The staff and doctors were very compassionate. The doctor gave a complete explanation and options. I have taken different pets here and always had a good experience

I've seen some poor reviews. I will say, I've never had anything but good people and good vet service. Just because the facility isn't Hoag, it doesn't mean it's not quality. I had my dog's teeth deep cleaned... went to the dog teeth cleaning franchise on Gothard and was quoted $1,000 for sedation, tooth extration and full cleaning. This is after I paid $100 for blood analysis. I took my 9lb dog to Beach-Garfield Vet Sean Alley and his great staff, and yes, she needed a tooth pulled and deep clean. She is still a pup at 12 and Beach-Garfield was $450 and they gave us pain meds for her in that charge. This is a small, independently owned Veterinarian Clinic. It's better than you'll expect, and I've had my dogs over the years at the most rediculously expensive vets you can imagine. My Cooks is going strong now at 13 with GREAT teeth!

As many pet owners feel, my cats are everything to me. They are my first “babies” before my own son was born, and I was very worried about sending them off into the wrong hands, even for a routine spay/neuter. That being said, I feel I have made the right decision in bringing them here!! The staff I saw face to face was very friendly and welcoming, making me feel at ease from the beginning. The phone calls I made before choosing this veterinary office were professional and informative, while always maintaining their friendly manner! They were able to schedule both of my cats at the same time and they were returned to me in a timely manner, which was extra helpful for my busy schedule! Everything went perfectly, and the doctor was even able to diagnose the issue with my female cats skin which I had been worried over! Another major plus, in addition to the general care my pets and I had been given, is the pricing! I found it to be fairly affordable in comparison to other places I had looked! The next day the staffing even called with a follow-up to see how my kitties were doing! Although I hope to not have any reasons to bring them back into the office, I will be taking them here in a heartbeat! Great experience overall!

I take my dog and my cat here and every time I get treated with the great customer service, and they truly care for my pets as if they were their own. Such great staff here.

Always have loved the staff and doctors here! However, our most resent experience was above and beyond. Unfortunately, we had to make a hard decision that it was time to let our big boy be at rest and pain free. The staff was and doctor were so sweet and informative as to what the process would be. It wasn’t my first rodeo with this, but it never gets any easier. Well today, I received a card from the staff and doctor sending their condolences with our boys paw and nose print on it. It was a gesture I did not expect, and is one I greatly cherish.

I’ve always had great service and care for both my dogs for the many years we have been coming here. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Great place with a decent menu and even better service. The Mgr David B. was so kind and hospitable. Leo our bartender was so sweet and very helpful as well.

Amazing place, friendly staff , and fast service for walk in and super affordable. I've been to three different animal hospitals and this one is by far the best one.

Our yellow lab has been having seizures and we were unable to get her into the car as she couldn't walk. Dr Alley made an after-hours house-call to see her. His gentle caring manner meant the world.

We absolutely love this Vet. Dr. Alley really does seem to care. He literally saved our cats life when she was having bad asthma issues. Also the staff is polite and helpful. Additionally I have never had to wait longer than 15 minutes to see Dr. Alley. Prices are cheaper than most vets in the area as well. I highly recommend bringing your sick pets here.

Dr Alley is a blessing. I have a 13 year old semi feral cat who I have never been able to pick up. He's fallen sick and I was not able to get him in a carrier to take to a vet. I contacted 6 vets for help, none of whom gave me very much advice and all of whom wouldn't make a house call. I lost sleep worrying about my poor kitty.. I found Beach Garfield and Dr Alley. He came out, successfully sedated and caught my cat and treated him including hydration, antibiotics, anti nausea meds and he took blood samples. My cat was severely matted and Dr Alley sheared him.
My kitty is happy now and under treatment. Dr Alley has a wonderful bedside manner and I could tell this was not his first rodeo dealing with an unwilling patient. He was calm and kind to my cat. I couldn't be more grateful.
