Great selection of cars at this location. Excellent customer service at the counter and when you return your car. The cars are always clean and the fuel is always full. The return process is easy before hours or during hours.
National car rental makes it easy if you are part of the Emerald program.
Be careful when you pick up and drop off your car at John Wayne, as it’s a little tricky, walking around all of the departing and returning cars.

I've been an Emerald member for years, the selection is great on the National side, I can use Enterprise also. They always treat me well and usually have an upgrade that fits my needs. Majority business travel, which they make it one less thing I need to worry about. Just show up, pick a car, or they have a good suggestion. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I occasionally have to use Hertz or Avis if National is not available in that airport. I can tell from the extra time and lack of selection those other two provide, how much I miss National and request from our agency every time I have to travel.

I travel a lot for business and I can tell you truthfully that, this location is one of the best in the nation!

There is a lot to be said about customer service especially these days when there is a lack of it... Not here! These guys are super professional, fun-loving and just a pure joy to deal with.

National Car Rental is my new exclusive pick. I switched my business to National in 2023 and I’m glad I did. The employees are try really hard to provide outstanding customer service. Everyone is consistently polite, courteous, and very helpful.

I also love the rewards program on my app that tells me the number free rentals days earned, my progress towards the next level membership tier status, and past/present rentals.

I have always preferred National for car rentals, and the National at Anaheim didn't disappoint. I love their ease of renting, and it's very laid back. Their staff was extremely helpful, and we had plenty of choices for cars, even though it was during spring break. We ended up with a Ford Edge, which was comfortable and easy to drive. Overall, I was very pleased with my choice and plan to use National again.

Always a great experience with National, but particularly great with my recent interaction. Alex, at the Orange County Airport location was fantastic. I had an issue and he quickly handled it and assured us he would take care of any problems at billing. Very classy guy and we appreciate the attention after what could have been a much bigger concern. Thanks Alex !

Let me tell you about the customer service at National!! When I returned the car, Ms. Donna was so pleasant and helpful. However, I left my book bag in the car. Had to sit and wait for the item to returned. It came back in tact and Ms. Brittney was facilitating everything. Such great work! I thought I had gotten everything back. Come to find out my work phone fell out of the bag (still in the car). I called the phone, someone picked up and my phone was returned with promptness! Best customer service I’ve ever received! National thank you for all that you do!

I had an amazing experience with National! Dave (John Wayne Airport) ensured that I was taken care of and had everything I needed. He was thorough and knowledgeable. His manager, Alex, was equally amazing. He helped to ensure that I was getting the most value for my rental. Upon returning my vehicle, Faisal, was helpful and kind. It is experiences with individuals of such a high caliber like this, which make National my preffered car rental company.

My experience with National car rental at Orange County airport was excellent. When arriving they had my reservation information immediately and had 4 cars to select from that was close by. The car was new and clean. The return was just as easy with friendly and knowledgeable associates.

The attendant was efficient, courteous, and worked quickly to get me to my car. The car was clean and we drove it without issue. The return was simple, and again, without issue. I was a lifelong Hertz customer until two years ago when our company was acquired. I’ve had only positive experiences with National in those two years.

National always comes through for me. I appreciate being able to choose the car I like, and they treat their Exec.Club members well. When I turned my car in at LAX recently, the guy receiving it worked with me to ensure that I have all the discounts I am entitled to and had a great deal for picking up in one location and leaving off in another.

Always smooth experience. I rent frequently for work and never have any issues. My last trip to Orange County accidentally got a nail in the tire. The car swap was super easy. At drop off at John Wayne airport Javier and his manager were super nice and helpful.

Picking up the car at John Wayne airport was seamless the representative was very friendly and got me in and out in a short amount of time. When I returned the car Faisal the representative was right there to check the car in and was so friendly and explained to me where to go to find the terminal. I will definitely be renting again from National!

Arrived at John Wayne Airport and went to the National Car Rental office. Was greeted by Erik who took care of us in a timely and friendly manner. Very satisfied with the service at National. When we returned, we were met by Yahya at John Wayne. He was very friendly and also took care of us quickly. Wouldn't rent a car anywhere else.

I received great customer service from Faisal when returning my car at the airport. He took time to explain the invoice and was helpful in directing me to my gate. I had no issues with the rental and will definitely use National again.

With redesign of the onsite rental space at SNA airport, much more efficient system for Emerald Aisle pick-up compared to a year ago: much more car choice/availability. Returning cars to the lot is more labarintine, but just need to go slow and look out for signs/directions.

They were very busy. Most of the time I pick my own car. The gentleman that helped me let me take a nicer than expected car. It was fast and painless. I LOVE National. I use them every time.

Excellent. Car was clean, and it was a bonus the mini van we rented was almost brand new. Agents were smiley and return was easy and receipt provided seamlessly. Perfect rental.

We traveled to John Wayne airport during the holidays and our experience with the National Rental branch was great.
