Dr Keun-Heng Stephen Huo, MD

I suffered from lower back pain for many many years. Tried the injections, physical therapy, acupuncture and chiropractic care..it all bought me time, but ultimately I had to get a spinal fusion and laminectomy. I interviewed 4 doctors and chose to go with Dr. Huo. His bedside manner was the best! His knowledge and communication was great. Made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions. He is gentle and doesn’t rush. His office staff was always helpful and responded quickly when I had questions. It is very scary to get surgery. I had to get the fusion at L4-L5 and I had spinal stenosis. Literally was walking same day as surgery. I stayed 2 nights in the hospital. My hubby stayed with me. Doctor Huo was checking in on me both days. I was very pleased with the entire process. I was off all pain meds within 10 days! Totally walking and driving within 2 weeks. It’s been one month exactly and my scar is healing so good! I am finally PAIN FREE for once in my life after many many years!! I’m 54 years old and so happy that I did this surgery with Dr. Huo.

Dr. Huo is friendly, knowledgeable and thorough while dealing with his patients. I felt very assured of his expertise during my visit. I will definitely call upon him when needed!

Dr Huo is very friendly, easy to talk to, and provided me excellent advice on my spinal disc bulge. I appreciated that he recommended non-surgical avenues of treatment, and only surgery as a final option.

Dr Huo is very "hands on"and involved with his patients care and recovery. He has a great bedside manner and truly cares about his patients. He is also an highly skilled surgeon. My husband's case was anything but ordinary and Dr. Huo kept me informed and made me feel comfortable every step of the way. I highly recommend him and his staff.

Dr. Huo saved my life. I was in so much pain from a destroyed lumbar spine which was operated on twice previously by other surgeons with no success. I had 4 levels fused and presented Dr. Huo with a complicated case as there were spacers in my spine that had to be removed. He had to perform 2 surgeries, one through the anterior and one through the posterior spine. Dr. Huo was conscientious and certainly used the right protocol for my difficult case because I feel a hell of a lot better. I literally couldn't function prior to my surgery. I was in so much pain that I walked like a 90 year old man (when I could walk). I didn't want to live like that any longer but as I said in the beginning of this review, Dr. Huo and his technical expertise saved my life. As far as bedside manner goes, he is amazing. So nice, so kind, so caring. I couldn't have asked for a better surgeon. His office support is outstanding. They are on top of everything. Thank you Dr. Huo and staff!

So far the doctor has been respectful courteous and very informative and thorough. I look forward to receiving his services in the near future .

I truly enjoy being seen by Dr. Huo. His bedside manner is wonderful. He’s very friendly and warm. He makes sure he explains to his patients in detail what their symptoms stem from. Dr. Huo is a really good doctor.

I actually started seeing Dr. Huo as a second opinion patient. Dr. Huo is a highly knowledgeable Spine Surgeon/ Specialist. Dr. Huo treats you individually and cares very much about you and your health. He will spend time with you and listen to all your concerns. After meeting Dr. Huo and him taking time with me to address my concerns/issues (and him making sure I fully understood as well) without making me feel rushed, I opted to have Dr. Huo perform my Spine surgery. I had been seeing my previous Spine surgeon for 4 years however I felt more at ease and was very comfortable with Dr. Huo. I can honestly tell you first handed after having Lumbar surgery recently performed by Dr. Huo, If you ever need a Spine Specialist, Dr. Huo is the definitely the Dr./ Surgeon I can highly recommend.

This is a very nice State of the Art office. All the staff especially Luis are very courteous and helpful.

Dr. Huo and his staff cannot be recommended enough. They truly go above and beyond, really showing compassion and care for their patients.

They are extremely skilled, with the best credentials as well.

I was recommend to see Dr Hou from my primary doctor. I was so glad I did the staff was so nice is greeting me they made me feel so welcomed . Amelia was very kind and sweet . I was surprised by someone saying she wasn't. I believe there are two sides to every story . Dr Hou thank you for being so kind and in helping with my lower back ans sciatic issues .

I had a hard time finding an orthopedic surgeon, but this doctor was kind and well treated. I'd like to recommend it to someone else.
