Oc & Lau 2 Restaurant/Bar

The food was by far the best food I’ve had when I visited southern Cali. Definitely take your family here to eat! They serve drinks that were great also! We loved it so much, we ordered more and finished everything on the table.

Food was amazing. Service was excellent. Like any Asian establishment.... its plain simple and quick. Sit down....order...eat....leave. plenty of parking and friendly staff. Definitely recommend it to everyone. Their bread was also fresh and out of this world.

We came around 10pm and it was very rushed. As soon as we got in they said it was last call and had us ordered everything we wanted. After we did so, it all came out at the same time and didn’t fit on the table quite well. I wouldn’t go that late again, I would really want to take my time. That being said, everything was hot and the food was good! The Thai seafood Lao was a little too sweet but everything was great overall!

When we got there, it was a long wait. I think we waited about 40 minutes but it was worth it. A friend recommended me to try this restaurant while I was in town. When we all got sat, we went ahead and ordered a bunch of dishes and within probably 10 minutes, the food came out, talk about fast. I don’t remember what we all ordered but it was all delicious.

Was only able to order 3 dishes, however was extremely impressed with every aspect of the meal. Presentation, variety of flavors, textures, all soooooo good. Will definitely plan for the 45 min drive to come back again.

The best seafood dishes are Babylonia areolata (ốc hương) and scallop. I would skip the shrimp. Besides the wonderful seafood, the coconut smoothie is must try; on second thought, order two 😋

This was one of the best restaurants. Very tasty and delicious meal. Every thing from the plating to the taste was on point. This was our first time having snails. Even the drinks were good. Try the coconut smoothie, you won't be disappointed.

This place is always crowded!! Came here recently Sunday afternoon, right when the bar opened at 4pm so we got a table in the bar area to eat/drink and watch the football games. There’s always a wait for a table at the restaurant, so plan accordingly, especially if you go for dinner.

They have the big beer towers if your group wants to share. Full bar with lots of alcohol/cocktail options. Great food dishes were: Ốc Hến Bánh Đa (baby clams and escargot with rice crackers), Ốc Len Xào Dừa (coconut escargot), Ốc Saté Bơ (saté garlic butter escargot) and Cơm Chiên Crawfish X.O. (crawfish fried rice)—all delicious and well flavored!! And at the end, they give each person a small complimentary bowl of Chè Bắp (Vietnamese sweet corn dessert) which is good!

Seafood here is awesome. Recommend either lobster or crab with udon. The key is the udon.

Service can be improved. Our water ran out for 20mins without server refilling.

I just wanna tell everybody how great this place is!
The seafood is so fresh! The environment is clean and fashion. If you never tried Vientiane’s food, I high recommend this restaurant. I often come once or twice a month. Seafood always nice, and price is not high compared with other restaurants, but I don’t like the fried rice too much. It’s a little wet and sticky. Just my personal opinion. and the workers here mostly young people, they are super nice and can speak good English, not only speak Vietnamese. Lol

The foods are delicious with good price. The place is new, modern and clean. The best is the staffs, they are so friendly and polite. I would recomend this place for anyone who loves Vietnamese food! Thank you!

One of the best seafood vietnamese restaurant. Fresh and good taste. Affordable price. Free dessert and delicious.

The place was very busy but we got the table for 6 very quick. Their menu was a little hard to focus on as their choice of font was a little funky. Anyhow, their quickness of preparing food was incredible. Dishes we ordered came out in less than 10 minutes. The Crab Fried Rice was spotted on. Calamari was yummy. Overall, they serve Great food with very fresh ingredients such as vegetables and seafoods.

BUT THEY REALLY NEED TO CHANGE SOME soup ladle utensils

I recently visited Oc & Lau restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The spacious restaurant always seems to be bustling with customers, yet the service was exceptional. I must give a special shout out to the lady manager at the front cashier who was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our meal.

The star of the show, of course, was the food. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. It's no wonder that Oc & Lau is considered a must-visit restaurant in OC.

Overall, I highly recommend giving Oc & Lau a try if you're in the area - you won't be disappointed!

Great food. A lil expensive but great taste.

Great place for the different Oc (snail) dishes. I especially loved the Snail in coconut sauce and the grilled abalone. My fav out of everything we ordered was the grilled Scallops with fish eggs (definitely recommend to try), if it wasn't that expensive, I would have ordered just this dish. The hotpot was nothing special for me, so I would personally pass on the hotpot.

Place was pretty packed even though it was 3 pm. They have a variety of dishes on the menu ranging from small dishes to hot pot. We ordered the mango seafood salad, snails with coconut and basil, snails in tamarind sauce, scallop, and squid. Our favorites were the snails in tamarind and the coconut/ basil, along with the mango seafood salad. The seafood salad was very refreshing and kinda cleanses the palate when in between the dishes. Both the tamarind sauce and coconut sauce would be delicious on white rice. I would love to come back to try other items on the menu.

This place is worth all the hype! They get busy really quickly when it’s meal time, but definitely worth the wait if you are a seafood fan. We absolutely love everything we ordered! The lobster udon and the hot pan seafood (clams, escargot etc) are so fresh and well flavored. You won’t regret coming here!

Love this place. I went to the other location before twice and wanted to try this location out. Both are delicious! I don’t live locally so this is a must stop for me.

I got the grilled oysters and house special mango salad. Delicious! So flavorful and savory. I dined alone so I didn’t order too much.

Service was quick and prompt. I arrived pretty early.

Cannot wait to come back and eat at this place again.
