Grinderz

Have never been to Old World center. It was interesting. Grinderz is right next to the parking lot. But if you park in the other lot, you can walk thru the center and see the cute shops. Grinderz has yummy burgers. Simple menu. But they stick to what they do best. Staff are really nice and helpful. Decor is pretty cool. Focused on boarders. I'm assuming cuz they're located right across from the Vans skate park across parking lot. Fun place to visit. Great food!

Grinderz is all the rage in Huntington Beach! The menu is simple, yet sophisticated and elevated at the same time. I like it when restraunts have fewer items, but they are all done well. Sauce choices are also a huge criterion for me, and Grinderz' sauces are all special. The Pigsty fries will keep everyone coming back; and the service is always friendly. Also, check out the Hidden Menu posted in the store for special creations available for a limited time! At peak times, you may wait a bit longer, but it's worth it! Take a walk around the historic Old World Village shops and businesses, and you have a complete experience!

So, two of the best burger joints in the OC --if not in the entire SoCal-- are located in Huntington Beach, on the very same street, within walking distance of each other. This is Central Street, on the opposite side of Costco. I've already reviewed Bunz, and now it's Grinderz's turn. Skater-themed Grinderz is located inside the Old World Village (famous for its Oktoberfest and associated Rocktober). The burgers are substantially different from those offered by Bunz, but both are absolutely top-notch. Unsurprisingly, Bunz has better buns (fluffier, seem more high-quality), patties and veggies are equal, but where Grinderz wins is on fries, onion rings, and milkshakes. Service is good and corteous, but I strongly suggest you avoid peak hours, when this place is packed.

Absolutely amazing place to eat!!! We were in town for a softball tournament and looking for a good local burger spot. We gave them a try Saturday night and we’re so impressed we came back for an early dinner Sunday. We’ll definitely be back this summer when we’re in town again!

Recently ate here with my sister, burger was super delicious and the fries were awesome 👍🏻 definitely wouldn't mind coming back 😀

Used to work in Old World Village 10 years ago and frequently ate at Grinderz till I got another job. Came back after 10 years or so and the food is still as good as ever. I will definitely be coming back for more.

Definitely try the pigsty fries. They’re like the animal style fries at in n out, except more flavorful.

The burgers are good, but not exemplary. Everything else is great.

This place is 1000 times better than in-and-out.
The pigsty fries are a meal unto themselves. They are made with special sauce, onions, bacon chunks and avocado all generously stacked on top of some of the best crispy seasoned fries I've ever had. My daughter got the grilled chicken sandwich which had been cooked and seasoned to perfection. Highly recommend grinderz.

WOW - the California Burger was outstanding, and Pigsty Fries were a treat. Once in a while you just have an urge for a great burger, and this hit the mark!

Simple, high quality burger that will not break the bank. This place has a great burger that will please any burger lovers out there. The quality of ingredients really stands out for the price point. Their fries are also really great. The menu isn't enormous but I think that helps, keeping it simple goes a long way. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Food is consistently delicious. Turkey burger with grilled onions is favorite. My husband raved about the spicy grind burger. Friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. Best spot around.

This was our first time coming here and it was a great experience. I would pass by this place regularly and I now regret not stopping by sooner. I highly recommend the pigsty fries and the spicy grind burger. The food was amazing, service was fast, and atmosphere really matched the Food.

LOVE the Burgers here‼ My favorite is the grilled chicken, bacon, ranch, jalapeño, etc.‼ And the sweet potatoes are cooked perfectly... nice and crispy, not oily‼
At times I will do a lettuce wrap in place of bun/bread.

Forget all the nice old world exterior decor, and the cool skateboard-themed interior. The heroes here are the burgers and fries. Absolutely amazing. Just the right amount of kick, great flavor, and for (incredibly…) slightly less than you’d pay at a chain like Carl’s Jr.. Win-win. Highly recommended!!

The food was great but the service from our cashier/waitress/server was terrific as well. Not sure we've even met someone as happy as she was lol.

The best burgers and fries I've had and the prices are good too. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the decor is fun, lots of skateboards but it looks really cool. The only complaint which is not a big deal is that the tables and chairs outside are a bit wobbly but I've recommended this place to my friends who've visited recently and they loved it too. I recommend the Pigsty burger and/or fries (shown in the pic) awesome place to visit if youre in the area 👍

This place is amazing, great staff, and even better burgers. Go all in and get everything, hints of bacon in the burger including and egg and onion ring to top it off. Atmosphere is great feels like you are in a danish village.

Probably the best burger, fry, and beer combo ever. Their hard seltzer’s were so delicious and refreshing.
Their back patio area was really cute and peaceful. We absolutely loved everything about our chicken sandwiches that we got.
The staff was very friendly and attentive. The environment was also really clean.

For the lovers of skateboarding and good burgers.

This place have one of the best burgers in the zone, a pretty good place, a lot of skate boards and the good vibes of skateboarding.

This burger Insane! Like, seriously juicy, the veggies are poppin', and the taste is just *chef's kiss*. And the fries crispy af outside, soft inside – they're the bomb with this burger. Oh, and the spot itself? So sick! Skateboards all over, totally authentic vibe. You feel like a cool dude hanging out here. Thank you
