We were two couples on a safari trip to Tanzania. After much research we booked with ToKenya Safaris. Being our first time to Africa we were concerned about how it all work. We were pleasantly surprised that they were better than we expected. The trip was exactly as they promised. Our guide was an outstanding and highly knowledgably. His command of the English language surprised us. He was clear and made sure that we saw as much as possible and safely. Everyone agreed this was one of our best trips ever.

I get why Kenya is called Magical !!!

Travelling to Kenya and doing a Safari has always been in my bucket list.
When me and my hubby had everything in order, we embarked on finding a good company to facilitate that. We found ToKenya Safaris on TripAdvisor and we liked their ratings. After several days of communicating, and trying to revise the itineraries to fit our interests, they booked us 10 days. We wanted to experience both wildlife and Kenyan culture, especially the Masai. We did Nairobi National park. We enjoyed being in a city and doing a safari just within. Then the best experience was at the Masai Mara. The accommodation we got and the camps were the best we had on safari. I cannot forget the hot air balloon and night drives. Masai Mara is amazing.

From the very beginning ToKenya Safari were excellent to deal with and made the entire process easy. They included our airport pick up a few days before our safari which was a bonus!

We did the 8day - 7night safari with our guide Patrick. He came for us from our Nairobi Hotel and was a fun to spend with over the eight days. He is very friendly, highly knowledgeable and excellent at spotting animals. He took us to the right places so that we could see many different things. The Land Cruiser was fantastic, really spacious and comfortable. We usually struggling to sit still for long journeys and didn't find the long drives difficult at all. Our lodges were all lovely, and the food selection at each was brilliant. In sum we had a great time and highly recommend booking your safari with ToKenya Safari. They worked very hard to make us happy.

A Remarkable Vacation

We booked our safari with ToKenya Safaris because they were willing to customize our tour. We didn’t want to join a group but wanted our own private safari. And that’s what we got. We could not have had a more wonderful time. They handled every aspect with high degree professionalism.

Every stage of the trip was magnificent from planning to the booking and accommodations for the safari were excellent. Our guide was amazing. His level of knowledge not only about wildlife but on everything about Kenya.

He answered all our questions he and was always polite. His knowledge of the parks is remarkable. He knew the patterns and locations of animals at any part of the day. It was truly special.

The truth is that when you are doing such a safari and for the first time, you have so many doubts. I am glad ToKenya Safaris impressed us. This is a company that really understands what a custom-made safari means and they're good at it. Everything was well prepared specifically for us. From the guides and drivers who received us from the airport, to the hotels and meals and even the safaris we did. Since we take special diets, even at the camps it was very clear. We got the best of our experience in the Wildlife. Kenya is full of the big 5 in every national park. Cheetahs, Lions and Elephants are in plenty and close. 10 days felt so short.

My husband & I had an amazing safari in Kenya. We contacted ToKenya to make the arrangements for us. They did not disappoint. They we super helpful in narrowing down our options and selecting romantic lodges for us. Every one including the our tour guide was outstanding. We particularly enjoyed Masai Mara the best but Amboseli was very good as well. We loved everything aspect of our trip especially when monkeys snatched garnishes off our drinks. We saw a herd of elephants trekking across right outside our camp. We saw lions literally a few feet from our vehicle. Totally magical.  The weather during the day was great, but a little cold during the night.  Otherwise it was very nice!!

On our safari was a group of 5 friends. Our primary mission was to experience the wildebeest migration at Maasai Mara. This was our first trip to Africa, and we had heard lots about it from our friends who had been and so we wanted in. The best part of it were the hassle-free arrangements ToKenya.com made for us. Once we contacted Charles, he took care of everything to the tiniest detail. Upon arrival at the airport in Nairobi we were picked up by our guide George. He was excellent. Highly knowledgeable and great driving skills. He knew everything about the animals, people and places. He truly made our trip A Truly Memorable Safari!

The Perfect Kenya Trip
Text-This was my third visit for a safari in Africa. I expected it to my last but because the good job by ToKenya Safaris, I changed my mind and will return for a fourth time to Kenya. I particularly appreciate the updates at every stage of the process from planning to booking. Before and after travel they informed us of developments and checked that all was well.  We were very happy that Charles assisted with the arrangements. Unforgettable!
My friend and I experienced an unforgettable 10 day safari with ToKenya Safaris. This well-run company provides outstanding service from excellent professionalism to family warmth. An amazing effort was made our enthusiastic guide to provide us with a full African bush experience. The accommodations were charming and clean. In one of the parks the grounds were visited by mischievous monkeys, graceful nyala buck and other distinguished animal guests. Our magical tanzania safari..!!!

During a magical ten-day period, we experienced a lifetime worth of memories. Our Tanzania Safari was amazing. We saw more animals than we could imagine. Our guide seemed to know exactly where to find special moments. The wildlife in Tanzania is remarkable.  We got many many photos of wildebeest lions, giraffes, elephants, flamingos and many others. This trip was full of pleasant surprises and ended too soon.

Memorable Kenya safari
My family had an excellent time in Kenya! This would not have been possible without the help we received from ToKenya and the entire team. They always checking with us before, during and after the safari to ensure they delivered good service and that we were highly satisfied. We were also very impressed with the guide. This was our second African safari, the first was Botswana five years ago. But the verdict was unanimous – ToKenya were excellent in making our Kenya safari full of wonderful memories. We took a group to Africa on a photography Safari and deeply appreciated the professionalism shown by the ToKenya Safaris team.  Our guide Juma was simply amazing and super hard working. His knowledge of the animals made all the difference. Every day he laid out the perfect game plan of where to go and set up.

My husband and I did a luxury safari with ToKenya Safaris for our honeymoon. Our journey started in Nairobi where we were picked up by our very knowledgeable guide George. We traveled to Amboseli and Maasai Mara. Our safari was fantastic, the accommodations were perfect.  Our guide is a master at spotting animals and knowing when the would cross the road so we could get close up views.

When the safari ended they drove us to the train station where we took a very comfortable train ride to Mombasa for the rest of our honeymoon at the coast. They even called us at the end of the safari to see that everything was up fine. Because we did extensive research before booking, we cannot recommend this company enough. They’re extremely responsive to our email, everything was completely transparent and the service was fantastic. Thank you, George, for a great experience.

We traveled with a large group of classmates. We visited Samburu, Laikipia and Masai Mara which was the most memorable part of the trip. Our group was large, so they put us in two vehicles. Our guides were excellent. They were knowledgeable about the wildlife. We were fortunate to see more animals than expected (except leopards). Working with ToKenya Safari during the booking process and our tour was very pleasant. They’re professional, punctual and reliable.

Never thought Kenya could be so amazing

Our Kenya safari was out of curiosity after watching a lot of documentaries and stories from our friends. And so we contacted ToKenya safaris to help us figure the best safari. I am so happy that the company acted very professionally and their consultant really helped us to figure the best safari for a family. After several emails and calls, we go the perfect safari for our family of 4. Although at first we were not sure of many things, the treatment we go gave us peace. We had a guide who was always kind and intelligent. Every moment he picked us from hotel or lodge, he clearly outlined the activities and answer our questions. Amboseli was fantastic with the largest Elephants ever. The camps were 5-star level yet allowing us to enjoy wildlife. The Amboseli Sopa Lodges specifically we our favorites. We have never seen so many Cheetahs and Lions. We even saw the leopards hunting. Kenya is a beautiful country for sure. People are missing out.

Delightful safari in Kenya and Tanzania!

Last summer we took our first safari and experienced Maasai Mara culture up close. Our guide Michael in Kenya went above and beyond. We continued to Tanzania where we met our driver Philip for a tour of Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Lake Manyara. Philip made sure we had a great time and showed us lots of many different animals. On our last day we returned to Nairobi where we met Paul. He gave us an excellent tour of the city including Bomas of Kenya and Karen Blixen Museum. We can highly recommend this company & this safari tour.

Truly Bespoke
What made us choose ToKenya Safaris is the fact that they made it very clear that they focus on Bespoke Safaris. And what we wanted it was a safari that would be tailor-made to create a lasting memory. We spent around 2 months discussing with their travel consultant and trying to change different aspects for us to get the best. This is something I really liked. Their cooperation and patience with clients. The same was reciprocated during safaris. The guides, hotel, safari drivers, handlers at the camps, clearly understand what we wanted. We even chose the type of car we wanted for the safaris. 4 by 4 or Van. We could select meals we wanted for the day. Night safaris we really amazing. We had enough time to enjoy every destination. For example, we wanted to stay for an extra day at Masai Mara, and they easily arranged that. Then we go to interact with masai people at their village. We celebrated our anniversary in Amboseli, and the company agreed to offers a special treat. Great experience.

ToKenya Safaris exceeded our expectations. We were met at the airport as planned and everything went according to the schedule. Our guide was very good, and we stopped for a lovely lunch enroute to the Masai Mara. There was also another quick restroom stop along the way. On the return trip we briefly stopped at the Thompson Falls for some breathtaking views and lunch.  The lodges were amazing especially the food not to mention the friendly staff. Our guide – George took us on bush walks and game drives which were wonderful. He knows so much about animals he could teach a full credit college course. Thank you so much for this experience.
