Great place. Listened to what I had issues with my truck. They found a major issue an informed me. Owner said no point rebuilding your differential at this point. My oil pump had failed an metal was in the oil. They stored my truck in a secured area. Did not charge me for anything. I will be replacing my motor in Oct 2022 an will be brining my silverado back for them to continue with my front differential rebuild. The owner is a knowledgeable an very upfront am honest. Was actually a blessing to come across him. See you all in a few months. Ty Baird Family

They have been in business a long time. Very honest and quality work. brought my first truck to them in 1988 and continue to bring my business back to them still today. I wouldn't trust my trucks anywhere else.

I had my rear differential done here and though I may have had to wait longer than I expected the price was fair, the work was done right and the parts are top quality. Dan made sure I was kept in the know and process as needed. He even suggested how to save money on the rear axel, however, I decided a complete rebuild would be best.

When the rear end on my Chevy Silverado went out, I called Dan based upon the excellent reviews I saw on Google. I wasn't disappointed! He did an excellent job of communicating with me about a realistic range for the work before they started. Once they got the differential apart, he called me back to give me an updated price based upon what they actually found, which was right in the middle of the range he had provided. When I came to pick my truck up, the bill was exactly what he told me it would be--absolutely no surprises. Dan was respectful, personable and answered all of my questions in an understandable way. I will definitely be back because I'm totally satisfied with my experience. I highly recommend Northwest Differential!

Dan, the owner operator, is the real deal car enthusiast who is an expert at his trade. Like a good doctor you might have to wait to see him, but the workmanship is worth it.

What a great shop! Dan/ Northwest Diff took good care of my white whale of a van when even Ford stealership wasn’t able or willing. A niche done well here, easy to do business with, communicates well and would recommend and use again! Thanks!

Dan helped turn a nightmare around! Ended up with a truck with a cracked axle housing but couldn't find parts anywhere. We called Dan for trying to figure out how to make the truck safe to drive again as we couldn't afford a new truck. He got the housing welded nicely and helped fix a slew of other problems and now the truck drives like never before. He was so knowledgeable and helpful.

We originally tried to have a 4.10 rear differential installed by Randy's in Everett. They told us we had an appt in September but when we drove down to double check (something didn't seem right) they didn't have us scheduled and couldn't get the parts needed (ummmm....they manufacture them) and December would be the earliest that they could get us in (what?). We were at a party at a friends at the end of August and hubby was visiting with one of the guests and learned about Northwest Differential and Dan. Made a phone call to talk to Dan and he was not only professional but was able to get the work done a month later! He had us drive the van for 500 miles with stops to let everything cool down and then come back for a fluid change and check on everything. We needed some tweaking done after having the new rear differential installed in order to have to speedometer match with the actual speed on the odometer and tire size. Dan took the time to contact Troy and Nick at Carburetor Connection to see if they were able to do this and they said yes and that they could look at it if we came down after leaving Northwest Differential this morning so we did and they got us fixed up right away.

We HIGHLY recommend Northwest Differential and Dan. They are good at what they do and you won't be disappointed.

I bought an older "fixer-upper" F-150 4X4 pickup, had it into the dealer for engine issues, and they told me the shift motor, of the four-wheel drive, was unhooked and wired up to the cross member. Well, I can't afford their hourly rate JUST to troubleshoot, and I had dealings with Northwest differential on my Ford Escape, so I took it over to them, and had them go through the whole drive train.
They replaced the shift motor, serviced the front and rear differentials, the transfer case and the transmission, and even took it over to the muffler shop next door for me, WHILE they were waiting parts!
I figured I'd be out $1000.00+++ for everything they did, but was pleasantly surprised when the total came in a bit below that!
These guys are friendly and honest. They will tell you if there are options available as to what parts they can get you. If you want dealer parts, they will get them for you. If you want to spend a little less, but still get good quality parts, they'll do that too!
All in all this was a great experience.

NW Differential repaired the my Ford Explorer rear differential for $450 cheaper than the dealer's estimate. Not only that, but they do a good job too. They were incredibly knowledgeable and described further actions they were taking to make the differential last longer than the stock setup. I would recommend NW Diff to anyone.

Great guys and great work. Sometimes it's just worth it to let the specialists handle the work; properly setting up differentials is a good example of this.
