Main St. Books Monroe

I've been coming to Main St. Books for the last couple of years and it never disappoints. While they do stock popular mainstream novels, what truly excites me is stumbling upon those elusive and eclectic novels that I've not seen in other bookstores. Main St. Books possesses a certain enchantment that effortlessly guides these books into my hands, almost as if by magic. Emily has crafted a delightful place for booklovers, and the warm welcome from the resident bookstore cat only enhances the experience. This has undoubtedly become one of my most cherished bookstores.

Great selection of used books here! There is also a small well curated selection of new books, rare to find in used stores. Really nice and welcoming atmosphere. The stock changes fairly often so I like to stop in whenever I'm in the area. And of course the adorable friendly cat is an extra bonus when I stop in.

We love Main Street books! Have been going here for years and aren't stopping anytime soon. Great selection, and a friendly cat ☺ in my opinion a used bookstore is not complete without a cat.

Main Street is a great independent book seller. The atmosphere is cozy (including a sweet, friendly cat) and they have a great selection- including for pre-teens, tweens, and teens.

Whatever I am searching for, Emily can find it. Then I look around the store shelves and find several others I cannot live without. Of course, store cat Miranda has her fair share of opinions (always helpful), and Store Owner Emily makes great recommendations, too. Highly recommend.

Main St. Books is exactly what a bookstore should be - quiet, cozy and FILLED with books! The atmosphere is very welcoming and warm from the owner and the kitty! Love this bookstore.

I have ordered books from the sellers online bookstore and they are shipped fast and as described. I recently bought a surprise mystery book wrapped in brown paper, it's a great book!
The store is wonderful to visit in person as well.

Love love love this little shop! Very cozy, a bookstore cat (BECAUSE OF COURSE THERE IS!) and super easy to order online / pick up or ship! The shop also did a "grab bag" surprise where you could pick your favorite genres and they would fill a tote for a very reasonable price. I got some great books I may have not otherwise picked for myself. Highly recommend! I love this shop.

Excellent used book store. I had inquired ahead if she had any of the books I wanted and she already had them put aside even when I came 2 days early! Also, make sure you say hi to Miranda the store cat when you visit!
