Cedar Mountain Post acute is the best facility I visit many facilities and this building is wonderful, kind, and very helpful. The staff truly cares when you interact with the patients they are happy and engaged. I would send a loved one there with no hesitation. Staffing is involved and always puts the needs of their patients first above all else. I cannot say enough about this place. In particular the Activities Director does an outstanding job and goes out of his way for all the residents. There are plenty of activities to keep the residents interested. Maybe there is no place like home, but this is pretty close. He treats the residents with kindness and respect they deserve. Thank you to everyone that makes this place special.

My experience at Cedar Mountain has been the prominent opportunity. I enjoy working with a team that is dedicated to providing quality care. I’ve had the privilege to work closely with all departments. Our therapy department is outstanding providing all residents with intensive therapy I’ve seen Director of rehab go out of her way for all her patients. Respiratory department is another perfect example of why I have enjoyed working with this team of dedicated leaders. Our respiratory lead is very informative and genuine never hesitant to speak to family regarding any concerns and or issues that may arise. She ensures all residents and families feel safe and comfortable with providing training prior to residents returning home. Respiratory team has a high success rate in safely decannulating sub acute residents. With the help of Cedar Mountain's dedicated staff on your side, your road to recovery is within reach. We thank you in advance for allowing us to care for your loved ones, because here at Cedar Mountain we like to think that our residents do not live in our workplace, we work in their home.

We were very blessed. and grateful to find Cedar Mountain Post acute .

Our daughter has been there now as a resident for 5 months receiving therapy after a stroke. She actually likes being there and has received very good care. Our family participates on a daily basis in helping her learn to adjust and adapt to her new living arrangements. Any time we have questions or need help the staff is eager to help us get answers or make any changes necessary.

The Therapy Department which includes Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy & Occupational Therapy is 5.0 star to us. They have really gone above & beyond in helping her to get services to gain her mobility, proper equipment and keeping us involved and informed.

The Activities Department works really hard to try to give the residents things to look forward to and help make their days enjoyable. Art, music, crafts, exercise, movies, singing, popcorn, making donuts and ice cream socials to name a few. The group of patients range from 35 to 100 so the job of activities is no easy feat. We are grateful that our family member has people working at Cedar Mountain who try to keep our daughter engaged and feel like one of the family.

We cannot speak highly enough of the wonderful care she has received. Other than a few days of being short staffed (which everywhere is now a days) she has received excellent care by her cna's, nurses and all staff. Her only complaint is the food is bland however it is varied and contains proper nutrition.

Every department head has met with us personally from Reception, Admitting, Social Services, Case Management, Nursing, Activities, Dietary, Physical Therapy, Speech, Occupational Therapy and Infection Control. Housekeeping and Maintenance have been on point. It is an old building but extremely clean and maintained very well.

We are grateful to all the staff at Cedar Mountain and I would recommend to others. We visited many facilities in the surrounding towns and there are no 100% perfect skilled nursing facilities but Cedar Mountain works very hard to take great care of our family member since we are unable to do it ourselves. We are thankful and appreciative of all the staff at Cedar Mountain.

My experience at Cedar Mountain has been great it’s not like anywhere else i’ve worked. Everyone here at Cedar is involved and we work together as a team and put the needs of our patients first. Me as the activity director it is my job to make sure every single one of our residents is happy and we’ll taken care. Coming to work everyday is my greatest joy because as much as i enjoy seeing them everyday they look forward to seeing me, just a simple smile on there face makes everything worth it. Our residents don’t live in our work place we live in there home, and theres no place like home so i will always do my best to make them feel cared for, welcomed, and loved. My ultimate goal in life is to help others and here i am able to do that and more this job is one of my greatest opportunities and i love what i do! 🫶🏻

I would like to extend my thanks and utmost gratitude to the Respiratory Team at Cedar Mountain. You all have brought me back from the edge of death and restored my health to better than I deserve.
With the combination of the Respiratory team, RN's and CNA's my stay here at Cedar Mountain has been not only productive but enjoyable.
As I progress into my rehabilitation, I am confident that the Physical Therapy department and its team members will be as professional and productive as you all have been. Thank you!

Cedar Mountain Post Acute has grown to be a wonderful facility. The rehab team, respiratory team and nursing staff have changed dynamically for the better. The success rate is proof of the dedicated team they have on staff. Highly recommend this facility to anyone.

This is the most efficient, medically up to date with a great rehab dept.
It is clean. The CNA’s are efficient and KIND to the patients.

Whenever there’s an issue management works hard to have a resolution with a great outcome for the patient’s, family members and of course the staff.

I like the fact that the majority of staff goes out of their way to help others whether is with call lights, patient’s or just in general.

THANK YOU CEDAR MOUNTAIN!!!

I got Covid-19 related stroke on Dec. 23rd and been in ICU 18 days; intubated and all. The hospital sent me to this facility. I was still positive with covid-19 so stayed in the covid-19 positive area. The nursing and other staff is not really I can recommend but because my wife keep checking and waited for almost 30 minutes most of the time to get somebody to talk to regarding my well being. The food was bland. Some CNA's were attentive like Angelica, Melissa, Elizabeth and Jayson. They are a breathe of fresh air.

The 5 star rating is for the PHYSICAL/OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY or the rehab department. The director of Rehab who is Ms. PARIS, was an amazing and professional woman. She has great people on her team like Ken Darnell, Michael (Mikey), Christian, Austin, Gabby, Yais, Josh & Christine to name a few. They are the reason why after my 6 months confinement in this facility I was able to move may weak side of my body that was paralyzed due to my covid-19 related stroke. I also want to say that Ms. Yara was also a great help with my family while I was still in the facility. She even gave her personal cell to my wife and she promised her to get in touch with her if she needed help from the facility, for the reason that visitors are not allowed entry at that time.

I elected to return as an outpatient for my OT/PT therapy 3x a week because they showed me that they cared, the love and the consistence level of top-notch care and eagerness to push me to my best ability to be able to walk again and God's willing we can hit the target date which is the end of the year. To the team from my family and from the bottom of my heart; thank you is not enough for all the toughness and help you were able to provide me with great care.

I am Dr. Glenelle Clarke and I approve this message :)

My family member was here for rehab after he had a hip replaced. To make it short, we were happy with the physical therapy they gave. The team really personalized the training to match the patient's needs.Great looking building compared to other skilled nursing in the area. Will recommend family and friends to go for rehab.

My beloved Mother came to Cedar Mountain as a re-hab patient. At 97 there was little hope that she would return home. Try as she may she passed away on July 13th, 2016. I would like to thank this facility for the care they gave my Mom and the love and compassion they showed to her family. Everyone from office staff, Director of Nursing (5 stars), Social Services (wish there was 6 stars), Dietary (an unsung hero 5 stars), the Therapist's, the CNA's, Charge Nurses...do you know how much your compassion, your hugs, your kind voice on the telephone means to the family. I will always remember your kindness. Most of all every day when I visited my Mom she would say "everybody is so good to me"....that meant the world. Yes, your carpet could stand replacing, the chairs have seen their better day, and the back door needs paint. But from what I see you invested first in a excellent staff.... Keep it up; you are a gift to the community. Kay MacGregor & Patty Moore, daughters of Ruby Irwin
