Prospect Park

Prospect Park is located up on a hill, but you can park on the street level as well and walk up using one of the paths. This park has stunning views overlooking Redlands and then some! There are plenty of benches to choose from, as well as a nice little grass area next to the Cottage House on the top. There is a nice public restroom for your convenience, and they have a few dog stations available. BE ADVISED: This park is notoriously busy with photoshoots, and once you see it for yourself, you will understand why. Be sure to bring a jacket if you run cold, for it is at a high elevation.

Love that's dog friendly. The picnic are It's also beautiful 🫶🏼 The trails and the beautiful castle 🏰 made it even better. Little girls would love it dressed as a princess 👸 and 15 añeras .

This is an excellent park for walking, light hiking, family photographs, etc. Beautiful areas for nature walking g, seeing flowers, seeing the sunset. There are bathrooms on-site, water fountains, benches to sit and enjoy the view. Several spots with canopies to get you some shade. Lots of trees and great view of citrus groves.

This is one of my favorite parks for my photo shoots. I have done family photos, Maternity photos. Quinceañera photos, and Babtism photos at this park.
I love the hiking trails and all of the beautiful trees. There are so many great places for photo sessions.

Great place to take a walk and enjoy the orange blossoms. Beautiful elevated views overlooking the citrus groves. Spots to picnic, gardens, event venue, outdoor stage area, etc. Blooms for days in the spring 😀

A beautiful place to walk, picnic and even take special occasion photos. Enjoy the beautiful landscape and diversity of plants, trees and shrubs as you walk the dirt path. Also enjoy amazing views of the valley while you rest your legs on one of the benches on the lookout. Whatever you do don't pass this place up.

Such a beautiful and quiet place. Very peaceful. The harmony of birds chirping, the rustling of the leaves in the breeze, the soothing sound of the creek, a family of snails, the plants and flowers, it really is a different world. Mother nature at its finest. And those trees, tall beautiful gorgeous.

I've been coming here for years. I love this park so much. I tell everyone about it. It was night time so we didn't get to enjoy the park this time, but it's one of my favorite places in the I.E.

This is one of my favorite places to go. It's so beautiful, smells so good from the flowers and pine trees. Nice for just about anything, walks, parties, picnics, photos... Lovely!

I always have a pleasant feeling every time I visit this park. The view is always stunning in certain spots. The weather is always nice. Today, it was supposed to be 90F outside. But I don't even sweat at all. For parking, this time, I tried street parking along Cajon Street. We arrived there around 6:20pm. Sunset today was 7:40pm, but my husband didn't want to wait for it.

Was very pretty scenery and was also very quite. Great place to take pictures or even just for a walk!! Will go again forsure!!

It really is a hidden gem. Amazing for a walk, a Run, picnic. Plenty easy trails. Kid friendly. Nice Scenery, Nice people. And it’s free lol. It looks like they also hold events there. Today was an Easter event given by the park. I was really surprised such a nice forest like park existed that is close and easy access. Excited to go again. Update: through the summer it’s not as beautiful at all , completely different. And after going a few times I realized I shouldn’t have said plenty trails, there are a few different walking paths but not to confuse with parking and it really isn t that big. But still a good place to get a morning run or walk or visit during certain seasons like when the orange trees are blooming or when they do festive activities for the kids.

One of my most favorite parks! You can walk through the orange groves and through the neighborhoods near by. Street parking, or follow the road up to parking at the top of the hill.

Favorite place ever! It was so beautiful n so much to see n walk through! Orange trees are the most beautiful! N you can eat some on your little walk/Hike

Always well taken care of and just great to walk the views can't be beat, pet friendly.

This is a fantastic location for photoshoots! I am a local portrait photographer and often shoot family portraits, maternity shoots, senior portraits, headshots and more at this gorgeous park. The park is very large and there are so many different backdrops to choose from. This also means that it doesn't matter what time of day you choose because the light will be great somewhere!
