Unique and 'Country' ....has good table service, and creative menu items plus other edibles, not too mention a huge selection of cider, beer & wine. Large outdoor seating area and a memorial wall for motorcycle riders that were in the military.

Great customer service, everybody checked on us not just our server, they were a cohesive team!! The cocktails are delightful and the food is delicious. The white claw freshies are refreshing and not too sweet. There was a live band playing and local art on the walls. Definitely worth a visit!!

Gotta try the turkey pesto and add bacon 🥓!! It was one of the BEST sandwiches I've ever had! Great friendly service. The owner(I think) and I have the same name it was good meeting you Wes! I will definitely be back soon!

Stopped by for an early dinner, ordered grilled onion bacon cheeseburgers. Best burger I think I have EVER eaten.

Also, definitely never been a fan of clam chowder, but tried a bite of my boyfriends. And Oh MY oh MY!! I almost ate half of it! It was SO good!!

Food was phenomenal. Real juicy burgers and chicken ect... U can also bring your dog and eat outside it's amazing. Highly recommend

The cheeseburger was perfect...delicious, tasted like homemade, fresh veggies and exactly what I needed. The tots were also good. Definitely recommend 👌

We were out looking at daffodils and then looked for someplace for lunch. We decided to take a chance on The Rex B& G. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. The food is great. HIs chili is amazing, the corn bread is so moist you need to eat it with a form. My wife had the BLT and it was great as well. Next time we are passing through Mount Vernon, we will be going back.

One of the Skagit Valley's hidden treasures. A quiet little restaurant and bar with a great atmosphere. Everyone at the Rex is friendly and courteous. I make it a habit to visit the Rex every time I visit the Skagit Valley

Stopped in for a quick coffee & snack.. awesome! The coffee was excellent...had to buy a bag...wow!

We love the food, friendly staff and laid back vibe of this place!!!! Great outdoor patio and fire pit to relax and enjoy the company...The food menu has changed up a level, great fresh sandwiches from the deli, good clam chowder and fish and chips on Thursdays, breakfast on the weekends are all the same but the dinner specials have bumped up the selection to delicious!
Music on some Saturdays as well, karaoke other nights and the Riders Memorial Wall Park sits on the same property. It is a beautiful location to honor fallen Motorcycle riders. Fun place to hang with locals and newbies as well!

I attended a party in the outdoor seating area here. This was a great venue for a medium to large gathering, and I would recommend it. You might even be able to do a wedding here.

We didn't do food, but the drinks were good. The server was very attentive and quick.

GO HERE! I ended up there by chance and I left so thankful I did. The place is seeping with small town history kept alive by locals and the owner. The burger I had was INCREDIBLE, best I've ever had in WA. The fry sauce was just perfect, with extra kicks of flavor. The staff was warm and friendly, even funny and cheerful. I just couldn't say enough good things to them

My best friend and I decided to take a day trip to La Conner and we are from Renton. The drive wasn’t bad and yes it was raining the whole time, but who cares, it’s Washington. We saw this little spot called The Rex while driving out and decided to stop and it’s been such an amazing experience! The employees are so wonderful and welcoming. Wes recommend some great food items and let me tell you they didn’t disappoint at all! Food is amazing. They have great drinks as well as drinks on tap! And everyone that are enjoying themselves as guests are also welcoming and helpful. Amazing service no joke and the beers on tap are so delicious. For a hole in the wall spot it’s a 10 outta 10. They also have a covered area and some of the guests here turned on the heater without asking. Those mannerisms. Let’s just say this is definitely a spot to be at when visiting this area. Love it!

Great venue, great burgers, great beer, great staff. Could you ask for anything better? Exceptional people experience and I’m still thinking about the beef and sauces. If you like spicy then you’ll also be in for a treat with their spicy sauces!

Went to Taco Tuesday and took some friends....we ordered the pulled pork and ground beef tacos. These are served on 8" flour tortillas, or you can go taco salad style with corn tortilla chips if you want gluten free. Needless to say I ordered two more to take home! These were so good! Can't say which one is better.. they're both exception! Service is Outstanding! We were even allowed to have our dogs with us. It was a hot day to leave them in the car. They were served fresh cool water. They have to behave! Ours did. This is a repeat restaurant hopefully for many years to come!!!

The photos do not do this place justice. I tried the Jalepeno Poppers, the Thai Chili Bone-in Wings, and the Jalepeno Burger, and I recommend them all while-heartedly. Looked good and tasted good too!

First time for Taco Tuesday at The Rex. Great duet+ tonight and excellent service. We had the deep fried hot dog. Yummy! Tacos for sure next time. They look delicious.

Soooo GOOD!!! Super fast and polite staff! We ate inside, but they have a huge outdoor area! The food was so damn good!!
