Dr. Sumitra Ramireddy, MD

Dr. Ramireddy is my mothers PCP. We have always found her very compassionate and attentive to detail. Her diagnostic abilities are very good. She cares for elderly patients and it’s very evident with her tx approach and rationale for treatment. Thank you doctor!

I felt she was in a rush to leave and didn't listen to my concerns. She even acted extremely surprised that I had a job when asked me if I worked. I felt very uncomfortable with this doctor and not confident in her skills or ability to communicate directly with me. I have type 1 diabetes that's been somewhat difficult to manage, she's not an endocrinologist and I needed a referral to one. She herself tried adjusting my insulin doses without even getting my medical records from my previous endo. (Need a new one because I turned 21 and need to be transferred to an adult clinic). When I had told her I was uncomfortable with her making these adjustments she told me " Well if you dont like it then find a different doctor." I turned 21 in December of 2018 and STILL she has not given me a referral for an endocrinologist and I'm finding myself in the hospital constantly because of this. It takes a month or two to get an appointment and then just today she canceled on me hours before my appointment for the 4th time in a row. She is extremely combative and treats patients like they're a waste of time. She appeared arrogant and judgmental and made no attempt to talk to me or put me at ease. Expected Standard of Care sorely lacking. Compassion is non existent for patients welfare and quality of life. She belongs working at a gas station with the type of attitude that she has. If I didn't have the insurance I have and could afford different insurance, I'd go somewhere else. She makes me extremely uncomfortable and I already have severe social anxiety and seeing her makes it so much worse that I feel like I will faint. My advice is to treat people like living, breathing human beings. To anyone that took the time to read all of this, please, if you're able to, go somewhere else. Humans deserve to be treated as humans and she makes me feel less than...

One of the worst doctor I ever seen . She ignored me while I was telling her my heath problems she was soo rude to me didn’t even listen to me . I will never go back to her . She told me that you move from alameda county one of the best county but here in san jaoquin is different what doesn’t that mean ? Like in San jaoquin they have the worst doctors ?? Well yes after seeing you I did fell I moved to worst county for sure . Please change your attitude.

Garbage doctor who dismisses your concerns, shuts down dialogue, tells you to find a god a pray to it if you're in pain. I wouldn't go to this lady even if I was bleeding out. Absolutely trash, so much for the hippocratic oath.
