Great place to get some delicious ice cream and candy. If you got a bunch of kids dont come here it's expensive most ice cream or milk shakes $8-12.

Got some great help to figure which chocolates I wanted (because I can't buy everything 😉).

This place is a chocoholic's dream come true, with the unmistakable aroma of chocolate wafting through the air. Sure, the shop may be on the smaller side, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in chocolatey goodness. The staff are as sweet as the treats they serve, always willing to accommodate your every chocolate desire.

If you're driving down I-5 and happen to pass by this landmark, do yourself a favor and stop in for a sundae. It's the perfect way to break up any long car ride and indulge in some serious chocolate overload. I went with the 72% Dark chocolate sundae shake, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. But if you're expecting something on par with Disney World's sugary delights, you may be in for a bit of a letdown. This is a chocolate shop after all, not an amusement park. Ghirardelli's Chocolate Outlet and Ice Cream Shop is a must-visit for any chocolate lover. Just don't blame me if you leave with a serious sugar high and a newfound addiction to all things chocolate!

I love this place! Any chocolate lover would have a great time! It is a very small shop, if your expecting something disney world would make you'll be very disappointed. It's just a small corner shop, but it's slap full of chocolate! There's tons of the chocolate square assortments to buy, as well as baking mixes, baking chocolate bars, chocolate powder, hot coco, chocolate syrup and more! You can even get ice cream and brownies here. It's a challenge to not go here on a daily basis

The Ice cream I had was the famous chocolate fudge, honestly I have no words to describe!

Ice cream - 5* rating of its taste and everything from its texture to Color ! It’s was a blissful experience!

The Chocolate I pick was the 72% Dark : I love the balance in the 72% is just the perfect blend in my opinion and it’s delicious, I can’t rate a chocolate. But it’s become my favourite now!!

I love Ghirardelli chocolate. We always stop at the one in Disneyland, the one at cannery row in Monterey, and this one. You'll miss it if you're not looking, although it's hard to miss the huge sign in front of the building😅
This used to be a distribution center for them, but that operation has moved to Tracy. The little chocolate and ice cream shop stayed.

Our last trip from Sacramento to the central coast, we made a pit stop. We got a brownie (DELICIOUS) and coffee, a raspberry fudge sundae, and the presidio passion. The raspberry fudge sundae tastes exactly like the square chocolates filled with raspberry. The ice cream is a sorbet. A little weird, but it totally works. The presidio passion is a hot fudge sundae with added strawberry sauce. That's my favorite. It's topped with a chocolate covered strawberry. Yesss. It was a little pricier than we remembered. Maybe pricier than the one at Disney, if that's possible. But it is a treat that we get maybe once a year.

So if you are driving to our from southern Cali to northern Cali, this is a great pit stop. It's clean and they have bathrooms.

We ordered the Banana Split and the Hot Fudge Sundae, respectively. I had Rocky Road ice cream, in lieu (supply chain being what it is in COVID times) of chocolate -- an excellent suggestion from Allianna. The Rocky Road, Strawberry, and Vanilla ice creams in my Banana Split were rich and flavorful. The luxurious hot fudge, thick whipped cream, and firm bananas balanced out the sweet pineapple and sweet and tangy strawberry toppings very well. That being said, even a simple bowl of those sweet and tangy strawberries in cream would have been delightful.

My nephew enjoyed his Hot Fudge Sundae, too. Although he is not as big a fan of thick whipped cream, as I am. But he agrees that the hot fudge was very good. The shop was clean and the staff were pleasant. I called back after I got home because I thought I had left my credit card holder on the bar. The young lady who answered the phone actually took the time to walk over and look to see if I'd left my card holder in the area I'd previously occupied. Very good customer care. 👍

NOTE: If the desserts and chocolates Ghirardelli sells in their confectionary were not sweet, then they'd be doing something wrong.

Is a nice little outlet store. Has everything you could want for Ghirardelli products. Smaller than I thought it was going to be. Shares the same space as KiwiCo which makes Kiwi crates. Has mostly chocolate squares but some cocoa products. Hot chocolate and brownie was very delicious. If you like chocolate and are near then you need to stop by.

Delicious hot brownie and fudge i’d go here just for the brownies. The whipped cream is really good too it’s thick and rich. The chocolate ice cream tastes like super rich and delicious not to sweet with great texture.

Out of all the times driving down the road and passing this place, I finally got the courage to stop thanks to my friend. The caramel ice cream they have here is incredible and the delicious chocolate for sale.

Definitely my favorite brand of chocolate! Had the chance to drop by a couple of times at Ghirardelli Chocolate Outlet & Ice Cream Shop back in 2015 and I still remember every visit! From the chocolatey smell of the whole place, to the ambiance, to their good service, to their array of choices of sweets and ice cream, you must definitely stop by when you're in the area!

This is a go to place for the best chocolate and sundaes, ice cream and shakes. You can see it from the freeway. The staff is always nice. The minute you enter the cashier hands you a sample chocolate to eat while you shop. You can buy gifts in here as well. I love their chocolate powder. I make my mocha every day with this chocolate mixed with coffee. The prices are reasonable. You can watch them make your sundae. There are tables you can sit at inside and outside. Sorry about the shadows in the pictures. Hopefully you can see most of them!

The delectible options will have your mouth watering for sure! They have non dairy options which is always good for my lactose intolerant friends. Even the whipped cream can be non dairy!!! Anyways, great proces for baking goods, sweet treats and coffee and ice-cream by awesome baristas.

Finally stopped to have dessert on our way back to Sacramento from Livermore. Small store but has the best ice cream ever! Best part is you don’t have to wait in those long lines like you do in San Fran. Bonus, you can even find a seat! You don’t have to go outside or eat standing up. Will be back soon!

Good ice cream and shakes. Very rich and creamy. They have some good deals on chocolate. Tried the gold rush sundae and it was very good and tasty.

Great prices on all their chocolate products. Lines for their ice cream shop is also so much shorter than the San Francisco location. Staff were also very helpful and nice. Overall great experience and highly recommended if you’re on the 5 Freeway

The store is small. We order 4 items and all are good. They have some table outdoor and sell many kind of chocolate inside the store.

I'm not someone who craves a lot of sweets but I specifically crave the sundaes from here more often than I was aware I would when I first tried it. Dark chocolate all the way! And give the salted caramel a try!
