Aaron Assistant manager was great! Took control of the warranty return for Rheem water heater after he saw how much of a big deal it was. Was such a hassle as everyone else is refunding the full amount to replace, but after Aaron saw the problem, he was able to get his Local Plumbers satisfied and able to fix the water heater for the customer that night. Thank you, Aaron. That's Customer Service.

I was there last night. I got a great costumer service. Alejandro help me to pick all my stuff for a tile project. I didn't have an idea about products. He explained everything very well. Im not sure if is ALEX OR ALEJANDRO . his service was amazing

They need to have a manager work the night shift. When we shop after work we have found that if you ask the HELP you desk at night they really can't help you . They always say our manager is not here until day shift. Management needs to put a position in for a manager to be there at night. The public consumers need things at night that only management can get or order. Why is it that employees at night can't really help you ? I gave you 5 stars but you do NEED a manager in all stores at night.

I'm usually here about 4 days per week, as I'm employed in the trades, so I have had interactions with nearly the whole staff. The one person that is consistently excellent is Luanne (hope I got that right - the woman with the New York accent) in the paint department. The woman is always calm, friendly, and gifted with conversation. She is highly knowledgeable and provides insight and advice when appropriate. One time she even sought my advice about a wood filler I was selecting, mentioning that she wanted to know more about some of the items in her department. I was in today (11/22/2023) at around 1:30 and was in a line and Luanne was handling business professionally despite being the only individual in that department for the 50 minutes I was in the store. An employee like that is special and I hope home depot recognizes this and moves her into management.

There is an angel that works for you guys and her name is lu ann!!! I was completely lost doing some else’s shopping. I was starting to get worried. She seen the confusion on my face and offered to help me. She showed me where everything was! With the busy holiday season, i try not to burden employees but she was so patient and even walked me to the products without being bothered or annoyed. I needed products that were no where near each other and she made sure i got exactly what i needed. She is a very rare type of employee and i hope she gets recognized for knowing that store like the back of her hand, products and layout! And doing it with a smile and joy. Lu ann is you ever see this, just know i am so appreciative of encountering you! And you inspire me and gave me hope for humanity!

Love Home Depot when I’m doing House Projects! Building a Barn Door for the owners suite. Going to build a triangular pergola around the hot tub, then will start on shelving for the walk in closets! Got all the materials and tools for a reasonable price. They even have a 70% off pile of scrap wood in the back of the store. I scored 3/4 the wood for the design on the barn door for a fraction of the cost. Found some cool pieces! Just an update! Finished the door and got it hung! Yay!! Started on the base for the pagoda and they were out of 6x6 posts, so changed to 4x4 posts. Got the base up. It is going to look nice anyway! Going to finish it this weekend! Getting the base together and level is the hardest part and is much easier if you get help for this part. Bought the black metal pole holders that anchor into the concrete (pavers in my case). They did not come with bolts!! So make sure you purchase concrete bolts with a large washer and have a concrete drill bit on hand. The size of your drill bit will depend on the size of your anchor bolt.

I've shopped a lot of different hardware and lumber stores, but the SLO Home Depot has them all beat. I never have any problems finding what I need. But what makes this Home Depot stand out, is the employees. If I seem to be looking for something, they're right there to help before I even know I need help. Sometimes I have questions about a problem I'm having on a project, and they will spend as much time as necessary to help me. And what I think shows real character, if they don't have an answer, they take me to someone who can help me. SLO Home Depot always has my part, but it's the employees that bring me back!

Helpful and friendly employees with a well stocked variety of merchandise. Floors were clean and self-checkout is a plus.

Best staff, easy to locate when you need help. Has everything I have needed.

I purchased a new washer/dryer set this past March’23. Washer works great, the dryer also but with one problem, it was loud with a terrible sound you could hear through the house.
I called HD & it was reported to Samsung. Samsung sent out a technician, the noise was to do with a very small inner frame. The technician notified Samsung & they basically said, sorry but we can’t do anything about it. I notified Leslie & Cheyenne In customer service about the situation.
They told me they had to work on the issue & it would take awhile. They would call every so often
& tell me where they were with the issue. I always felt they would stand behind their product & they absolutely did. I received a new dryer in early June & it’s working very well💥💥💥💥💥💥
These 2 ladies went to bat for me, they were very professional & wanted a good outcome.

Sofia in customer service was so patient helping my husband and I figure out a return. Even though she was past her time to leave she made sure we got helped fully. So refreshing thank you Sofia!!

Leno’s help made it all worth it! Last month i picked up everything from cabinets, sinks, countertops, microwave, to baseboards to help renovate my new business. That day in the store they were extremely short staffed (due to multiple call outs), but every single person who assisted us remained friendly and helpful…Especially Leno! That man was literally in every department making sure everyone was being taken care of. He was the glue that day there! Thanks for all the help Leno!

It's Home Depot!... a little lacking with 1 on 1 service, but lots of stock and prices seem competitive. Nice live plant selection. Lumber quality seems variable, I always take time to pick out just what I want.

I love Home Depot in San Luis Obispo. I cant say enough good things about the staff, including Sally in Appliances, Leslie and Michelle in Customer Service, Justin (helping move items) Aaron the Specialty Manager and Brian the store manager. They provide the best service. Each time I go in, I am immediately greeted and asked if I need help. I am in here frequently, as I am working on home projects. I like to buy local, so I am happy to shop at Home Depot. I am a customer for life!

This Home Depot is a pleasant place to shop. They even have some of the only electric car chargers available to use for free while you shop there.
I am a big fan of electric cars, bikes & vehicles in general. I just don't believe we have the infrastructure in place to support everyone driving one yet. We either need more public chargers, or better batteries that go farther on a charge.
Anyhow, I like this Home Depot as a comfortable place to find anything generally needed for your home. Not always as inexpensively as could be done, but seriously!... We made the best tools in the world once, before NAFTA & the 'free trade agreements;' which was trading most all our manufacturing jobs, then capabilities to manufacture things to nations which nearly use slaves to make the cheapest possible items, & dig up all resources America could possibly dig up for us to have least expensive materials. The result of getting the best prices, was an unskilled manufacturing sector, which has nearly dried up at home!
I don't blame anyone for creating unfortunately co-dependent ties to other nations, I just think we.need to be self reliant as a country, where we don't need to depend on other countries to make all the items we use & need daily. And maybe we just have too much cheap stuff filling our dumps and oceans & ....
I think this is a good place to shop!...
