Beautiful and peaceful during the weekday. Love taking my dogs.Just be careful if you take your dogs. Found some old fishing hooks around the lake that my dog was stepping on.

Stopped by to stretch our legs on a drive home from Sacramento to Salinas. We couldn’t have imagined how large this park was. Plenty of space in a Sunday afternoon to grill, have a birthday party, exercise, or just take a leisurely stroll. There are ducks and geese all over the lake. There was an advertisement for paddle boats, but we didn’t see any in use. $6 for parking didn’t break the bank. We really joyed the tranquility.

Beautiful park with a walking trail. Park is technically dog friendly but there are trails with “No Dogs” signs.

Parking is $5 and $1 extra if you bring a dog.

This park was a lot of fun for kids. There's a children's playground, a museum of nature and history and the restroom is conveniently located near the museum and entrance. There are plenty of picnic tables and park benches for everyone.

Peaceful, clean park. Excellent fishing spot, get there early if you want to catch anything. They have nice trails to walk around on, rental boats, and large grass areas that are set up for frisbee golf. Only gripe is that you will need cash to get into the park since they don't take cards. Oh, don't feed the birds, that's more for your safety than theirs, they can get aggressive.

We had a birthday party for Ah Lani at the clubhouse which has a dock at the lake. They were very professional & had everything so clean & ready for us. Barbecue pits & outdoor sink
Right outside the clubhouse doors. They brought the jump house & set it up on the lawn for our guests. The kids had so much fun. Great place to throw a birthday party. They also have paddle boats you can rent from $6 to $10

The park is location for events and picnics. It has a special charm. It is well kept and clean. I would regard it as a santuary on the outskirk of Stockton.

Beautiful park with amazing oak trees and walking trails. I don't play but Frisbee golf is pretty popular too.

Beautiful park, could use some landscaping and some love to the property! Clean bathrooms , plenty of parking space. I attended a family reunion there and we had a great time. The kids even got to see the geese walking around it was a nice time!

June 13, 21 First time here. It was very nice. We had a large party (over 50) and reserved several tables by the water. There was plenty of shade and the weather was perfect. Easy access to parking made it nice.

A great place close to home to feel a little lost in. We did not get to either of the two trails as our little tuckered out on the walk around the lake. There's definitely some work to be done, but considering the last year and a half, we enjoyed ourselves and will be back.

Oddly relaxing park for being at i5 and 8 mile road. As oddly not many people walk or bike to the park, there's no entrance fees for that unless you bring pets.

We love this park, gives you lots of activities to do with the kids, if you're on a budget, the ducks and geese are adorable, we have interacted with a few that have imprinted on our family, the pond and trail's are fun there's always a adventure when we go hiking on the trails, there's also a stage and the kids love it always coming up with plays to put on. There's also rocks for the kids to climb on, so much nature right near home. So if you're looking for a park that has it all this is your spot.

As photographers in Stockton, we know there isn't much places to photograph. But Oak Grove park is our go to location and our couples love it here! The trees + grass here at the park changes with the season so it's always a different look!

This is one of the best public parks in San Joaquin County. It has something for all age groups. Dog owners can bring in their pet for $1 and $6 per vehicle.
You like bass? Go fishing. Take a nice walk and then find a table to eat at. There is ample room to park. Pack up your family and have a great day, enjoying nature.

I love to walk the loop trails here! And I love seeing the geese walk around with their babies. Unfortunately you will hear cars on the freeway, but that's why you should bring ear buds or head phones! They help a ton, just throw on some nature ambience hahaha!
