There is a welcoming tasting bar at the back of the shop where you can typically enjoy a guided tasting for 4-6 rotating local wines. A small, but impressive food menu and several packages meats, cheeses, and olives are also available. The shop regularly hosts local winemakers to pour and discuss their wines. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, particularly the owner Miya, who is passionate about wine and winemaking, and a certified sommelier. Bottle prices are very fair. Whether you're looking for a fun afternoon or evening tasting wines, or looking to pick up some bottles, this wine shop is among the best on the Central Coast.

Highly knowledgeable staff with an Owner/Buyer whom is very hands on to the demands of the local wine customers. Always has incredible domestic and international selection if wines, beer and cider. Always find a gem here at phenomenal pricing. Not to mention, they are a licensed wine bar where you can go through an ever changing flight or just stop through to grab a glass! If you like wine, you owe it to yourself to stop in and pick up a favorite or try something new!

We stopped in here spur of the moment, and it ended up being such a lovely time. The owner and staff were so welcoming and the place felt like somewhere I could hangout for a long time and read a book while indulging in some wine. Caroline, our server, was lovely and made us feel so welcome. Not to mention, they had a great wine selection. This was a great first stop for me in SLO.

Always enjoyed this shop and even more so since there is new ownership. Friendly and attentive staff. The taste selections were very interesting and eventful. “Straight out of Paso”, “MCV” just mention some of which we purchased were so good along with a Malbec I’m anxious to try very soon. McKenzie was a marvelous and knowledgeable host. She observed us and suggested the above selections. She grades a AAA+

A fantastic place to taste through more interesting and smaller producers local to the central coast, and a great knowledgeable and friendly staff to help in picking or tasting wines.

Great spot in downtown San Luis Obispo. They carry many natural wines here that are both local and international.
Tasting flight features 6 wines is a much better deal than going to 6 wineries.
Browsing inventory on their website is easy and you can always order for pick up and delivery. They have everything - from easy daily drinking wines to rare and collectible bottles!

This is the cutest wine shop. The shop always have great new wines to try. I love going in and doing a tasting with the friendly staff. There is great variety and the owner is very knowledgable.

It was my first time in California and I have tasted it 100%. From crisp whites to robust reds, they had something to suit every palate. The store's dedication to featuring local wineries and lesser-known gems was evident, providing visitors with an opportunity to discover hidden treasures.

The tasting itself was a true delight. Miya guided me through a carefully curated flight, ensuring that I had a chance to sample a variety of wines that truly represented the essence of the Central Coast. Each pour was accompanied by insightful information about the winemakers, vineyards, and tasting notes, which added a deeper appreciation to each sip.

What impressed me most about Central Coast Wines was Miya's passion for her craft. The carefully selected pairings elevated the tasting experience, allowing me to savor the flavors while enjoying the lovely ambiance of the store.

Amazing selection of local & regional, mainly natural, wines. Super friendly staff, interesting & constantly rotating tastings, and a great vibe. Should be 5 stars all day.

Under new ownership with Mia and still highly recommended! Friendly and approachable wine store and wine bar with wine tastings! If you don't want to drive far out of SLO (due to gas prices) to taste the wineries of the central coast, come here and save on gas! Lots of representation for little wineries that you won't hear about anywhere else. Highly recommended!

New owner, Miya's, knowledge of wine and winemaking history is passionate and educated. She assembles thoughtful monthly wine club selections that are unparalleled (and brag-worthy to friends), and reveal the beauty of the Central Coast. Best Wine Club in the region!

I'm new to the area and I recently discovered this place. I absolutely love it! This is one of my favorite spots in SLO. They highlight all of the best local wines.

Tom is incredibly knowledgeable and super friendly. Bob, the owner, is very attentive to his customers and seems like an all-around great guy.

The owner, Tom, is very knowledgeable. Tell him what you like, your price point and he will point you in the right direction for great wines of the central coast. Why travel to all of the wineries if you don't have the time? Practicing all safety protocols.

When I walked in the place was empty. I still cannot figure out why that was. This place is AWESOME! The bartender is absolutely wonderful and makes great conversation. 6 stars!
