Fred's Rivertown Alehouse

Established in 1953, satisfying customers for 70 years, the stories this place could tell. We started with the Mick Jagger fries, holy hell those rock! I had the Reuben, it was piled high with corned beef and really tasty, others ordered the fish and chips, and French dip, no one left hungry or unhappy. The single malt Scotch representation is one of the best I have seen in the larger Seattle area.

I've been coming to Fred's for many years and I still love their fish and chips. They're not huge, but you can get two or three pieces. The breading is nice and crunchy over halibut. The waffle fries are a nice touch. The BLT is another great option.

I also really enjoy their scotch selection. Pretty extensive. Service has always been good and always friendly.

Great local Snoho digs. Amaze beer selection, great cocktails & great food. (The martini I had yesterday was fire!) I love their Ruben sammy. Service has always been pretty darn super :) unfortunately I am always visiting with my peeps and forget to photograph food but that’s a great testament that it’s a perfect place to visit with your friends and grab drinks and grub!

Great food and lots of options the wanton nachos was amazing and the Ruben sandwich was very filling. The place is a bit understaffed but worth the wait if your patient.

Fred’s is a great little local spot. I’ve loved coming here for the tasty food and the variety of beers on tap. They also have a decent whiskey selection that I love! Cannot get enough of their Asian nachos!

Nice homey atmosphere, staff have always been great, food is a little expensive but has always tasted good. Lots of beer on tap and a great variety of good stuff!

We've been here a few times in the past and it never disappoints! Awesome people, lots of different alcohol choices and highly recommend the Asian nachos! Hmmmmm

Sensational food and drinks, we needed to take and serving of lobster bisque home to show off to our daughter.

This lovely quaint eatery was filled with character. The food was generous and indeed plentiful. Decor fitting to the atmosphere or atmosphere fitting to the decor. If I pass here again I'd certainly come back for seconds.

Stopped in for drinks on a Sunday night. Easily found seats at the bar. Sevice was very friendly and prices were good. Very extensive beer menu and a great selection of scotch. I also really enjoyed the atmosphere and decorations, there is a really cool painted map of Scotland above the bar (I love maps). My companion ordered a lemon drop off the signature cocktail menu for $9. Great value, great price, friendly service.

I had the halibut & chips ($18) & they were fantastic. Decent size pieces of halibut, with a thick & very crunchy breading. Top notch fish & the tarter sauce was great. Many tarter sauces are too heavy on the pickle but this was perfect. The waffle fries were great too. I went right at 5:00 pm so it wasn’t very busy so the food came out fast & was piping hot. I haven’t tried anything else & this is my first time here but I’d recommend it.

We got the thai wrap and turkey, bacon panini for lunch. Both were delicious, salads were superb, house-made raspberry vinegariette is a must! However, we will be back for the Mick Jagger fries, they were to die for! Definitely recommend!

Great food and drinks. One of the best in Snohomish. We drive a long way just to go to Fred's sometimes. They have a very large tap list and many different brands of Scotch to try. Check out their Paninis with a side of waffle fries and their amazing blue cheese.

The French Dip was absolutely amazing. If this isn't the best one I've ever had, it's certainly top 5. It's the best in recent memory for sure. The waffle fries were phenomenal. They were perfectly flavoured and exactly as crispy as a perfect fry can be. I cannot say enough about how good my experience here was. The jus was perfect for fry dipping even though they didn't need it, it was so good that I even drank everything that was left.

The lobster bisque is AMAZING! We went during happy hour & a bowl was only $5...score! They also have a great beer/cider selection. Easy to find, bar-like atmosphere, great staff!

Love this place! The lobster bisque is Out. Of. This. World. The burgers are seasoned to perfection and not being a waffle fry kinda gal, I love theirs. Their salad dressings are made in-house and are delicious. The only minor thing would be the fish and chips are not very tasty, cooked well but need some more seasoning.

The food is amazing the atmosphere very friendly, noisy and full of life overall I enjoyed myself very much, I loved the build your own drink sampler,
