Cadence Apartments

After living in the community for a year now I can truly give my honest review! Though there could be some day to day changes this place has been great to us! I recently had a few helpful encounters with the office manager and all I can say is she’s definitely great at what she does! I felt like I was heard, my needs were met and she herself took time out to do follow ups regarding my requests! All my maintenance requests are handled within a reasonable time and the maintenance staff is extremely prompt and professional! Overall my family and I are ever comfortable and happy in our current unit!

The management staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The property manager Sharon provided me with a wonderful experience from touring the property to leasing a unit. Any questions and concerns I had were dealt with professionally and in a timely manner. Nothing but good things to say about this place so far.

This is a really great place to live. The office staff and manager are really friendly and helpful. The building is always kept really clean and the office is always hosting really fun parties! The building is in a really great location and it has great amenities.

Reliable, helpful and always willing to assist. I lived here before and would do it again. I still wish the rent was about $1k less a month. East coast pricing is so much more affordable. Average pricing back east is $1,500 per month. Much more reasonable for a one bedroom apartment.

My wife and I were some of the first residents to move into Cadence Apartments, and we chose this apartment complex for good reason. It was brand new and boasted amenities such as a pet spa, coffee lounge, conference room (where my wife would go to study), waiting room with Uber/BART pickup times, and Valet Living five days a week. The staff was welcoming and nice to us, taking the time to handle our many requests. The maintenance team was great at responding to apartment issues in a timely manner. The apartment itself was incredibly beautiful, and guests often remarked how jealous they were. It was conveniently located across the street from the South Hayward BART station, which made traveling to work and other parts of the Bay Area a breeze. I recommend this apartment to anyone considering a luxury apartment in the East Bay.

I lived at Cadence for about two years from early July 2017 to late July 2019. My husband and I were some of the first residents to move in. We enjoyed living at Cadence and moved only because we wanted to be closer to our jobs in the peninsula. If it had not been for our desire to improve our commute, we could have stayed at Cadence until we were ready to buy our own home.

While living at Cadence, I was in law school and found the proximity to South Hayward BART super convenient. It took about 5 minutes for me to walk from my apartment door to the BART platform. I would often come home late from school events/meetings and had no safety issues or concerns while walking home alone from the BART station because the path was short and well lit. My husband and I would also hop on BART for other BARTable events/activities like Warriors games in Oakland and broadway shows in San Francisco.

It's a new building with great amenities, including a pet spa, bike repair station, pool, hot tub, clubhouse, lounge, and 24-hour fitness center. During our time at Cadence, the management team continued to bring improvements to the building, including two EV charging stations and a TV screen in the lobby with real-time transportation updates (e.g. BART departure times).

The pet spa has professional washing and drying equipment, including a drying station where you can adjust the height depending on the size of your pet. There are also lockers to keep your pet shampoo and a separate dual washing/drying machine to wash your pet towels.

The lounge has unlimited free coffee, so many residents will stop by just to grab coffee throughout the day. The lounge also has a separate conference room with video conferencing capability that residents can use for meetings, study groups, etc. There is no need to make a reservation to use the conference room. If the conference room is unavailable, the rest of the lounge has plenty of seating and areas to meet, work, or study.

The clubhouse is really big and great for events. It has a large kitchen with a fridge, stove, oven, etc. It also has a large couch and four round tables, so there is plenty of seating. We hosted our wedding shower at the clubhouse and it was the perfect size and location for all of our games and activities. The clubhouse also has a shuffleboard table and foosball table, which our guests also enjoyed during our shower.

Some other great perks include the parcel pending lockers and valet trash. While living at Cadence, we always knew our packages would be safe because they would go into parcel lockers that only we could retrieve using a personal PIN or specific access code for the package delivery. If a package was too large for the lockers, you could retrieve them from the leasing office. With so many recent stories about stolen packages, the parcel pending system gave us peace of mind. Valet trash is this great service where you could leave your trash and recycling outside your apartment door in the evening and Valet Living would come and collect it for you. This was particularly convenient and appreciated when we first moved in and had tons of cardboard boxes to recycle.

We also appreciated the leasing and maintenance staff. The leasing staff is responsive. If you call Cadence during business hours, a leasing professional will pick up the phone. I didn't realize how great this was until I noticed that many other luxury apartments often direct you to an automated messaging system even during business hours. For all maintenance issues, you can request help through the online resident portal and the maintenance staff will always stop by to fix the issue within 1-2 days. I also didn't realize how great this was until reading other horror stories/reviews for other apartment buildings during our search for a new place.

Need I say more? We would highly recommend living at Cadence!

Location of this complex couldn't be better, right accross the street from Bart and near all the major freeways. Staff is very friendly and helpful, amenities are great and everything in the apartment is brand new and state of the art, would definitely recommend this place.

Candace, Renato, Kelly and Moises are new to this Cadence Apartment but have gone above and beyond to help make my experience here a great memory!!!
