I have been shipping with YRC for years now and they have the best track record in my book. Least damaged shipments, best prices, super fast delivery. They always show up for pickups at the right time. I am a very experienced shipper who spends over $100k per year on shipping products of all shapes and sizes. So I work with all types and YRC is one of my top picks!! (I can't speak to the local customer service, but when I call their 800 number its always great)

On the phone customer service sounded disappointed and frustrated. however, The delivery driver called before the drop off and was happy to help and was pleasant to work with once he had arrived. Thank you.

Poorest customer service I have ever experienced in a professional environment. They pick up was outstanding, timely, courteous with great communication.

The return was horrendous. I received a call telling me that the driver had attempted to deliver our pallet the previous day at 3pm and since no one was there, they returned the delivery to the warehouse, in turn costing me $124.87. I explained that our office was fully staffed the previous day through business hours and that I personally was in the office from 7am to 6pm, so I assumed they had the wrong address? Did they try to call me? The response was that the driver is "not allowed to call, even if they are lost" and that he "knocked on the garage door and no one answered".

Seriously....you knocked on a garage door and did not attempt to walk up the to the entry door (which is 15-feet away and unlocked) and speak to anyone in person? Yes, the driver is not required to enter your facility. That would be an additional delivery fee.

Add fuel to my fire when I asked to speak with a supervisor, they provided an alternate phone number, where I left a message. Their call back was to notify me that if I didn't pay the $124.87 fee, they would begin charging me a daily storage fee for my pallet. Nothing like forcing a client to pay for your poor processes, horrible customer service and lack of common sense.

I call in the morning and they tell me my pallet is on the truck and out for delivery. Call after the 8-12pm window and sorry, the pallet was never out for delivery but never fear, it will go out tomorrow! Only it doesn't go out. This time my pallet is only sitting in Spokane for 3 days although I've had pallets sit in Spokane for a week for no good reason.

I recently had the opportunity to do do business with the YRC terminal in Spokane, the on hand girl, Paula must ride a broom to work . She has the worst customer service skills i have ever encountered outside of an Auschwitz Guard. She clearly is not interested in helping customers at all! The Service Center Manager was more helpful but honestly it should have never had to go that far, if your job is to move freight and get it off the truck and you cant do that maybe you should open a pizza stand. It only took them 7 hours to get the truck unloaded for a shipment that was three days late in arriving. At least the price was good cause the service sucked! These guys maybe the biggest but they are by no means the best.

Had a delivery coming from Home Depot. The delivery had to be rescheduled at a time I was out of town. Asked if they could call sons number so he could be there to sign for the delivery. They will not call. Said they would just charge me a redelivery fee. Cancelled order altogether with Home Depot to avoid that headache. Will not ever use this company. Worst customer service I have experienced in a while.

Just had my first encounter with YRC Freight . The lady on the phone who was to set up my drop off was very rude and not helpful in the least. Before answering my questions she would take a big sigh like I was wasting her time. Not impressed. Hope drop off tomorrow is a better experience.

Most incompenant company I have ever dealt with. My fright has been setting in Spokane for eight days. They can't seem to get it 20 miles to me, all I get is false promises!!!! Never ship YELLOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bad drivers!! Nearly running over people instead of tapping on the brakes to be courteous they speed and lay on their horn!! Even when approaching an intersection!! A lack of courtesy is what causes road rage!! Let’s care about others!!

It took over a 4 weeks to get my shipment that was only supposed to take 1 week. Each time I called them, they were unable to give me any answers other than it was "in route"...the first two times I called they said it was sitting at a place and would have it picked up. I was so frustrated and worse because the people who answered the phone wouldn't do anything to help. Then the local carrier they used kept dropping the ball to...DO NOT USE THIS CARRIER.

very very bad customer service . she clearly not intersted to assit me . when i get there no was was there i had to wait for about 15min then she came and started working her own thing even if i am standing there .They really need help . I WILL NOT COME BACK.
