Oak & Honey Salon

It was my first visit to Oak & Honey Salon and I will be coming back again! I was taken care of by Cassidy and Rosalie, I let them know that I was planning on donating my hair and what I was looking for in a haircut and they took good care of me! I LOVED the cut, and they were careful with my hair I planned to donate. I will be returning and would recommend the salon to friends and family!

Here’s a huge shoutout to Bijanka and Oak and Honey salon for helping me with my hair crisis! I had badly matted hair due to a post surgery bed rest and was worried I’d have to go for a pixie cut from my waist long hair. However, Bijanka was incredibly empathetic and patient with my situation. She spent long hours over two days to ensure that I did not lose my length completely and was constantly hyping me up being her warm and funny self! She also gave me some great tips on how to prevent the matting in future as I was still on a bed rest. Also, her shampoo massages are amongst the best ones I’ve had!

The salon itself has a happy and fun vibe full of gorgeous plants. The receptionist was also very friendly and welcoming, and clarified all the questions I had while booking the appointment. The place is also wheelchair accessible with an elevator right by a side entrance connecting you to the parking.

I still can’t believe I walked out of the salon feeling good about my hair. I’d highly recommend Bijanka, and would surely be a regular in the future!

You will love Oak and Honey salon! Maddy, the salon owner, and my stylist for many years, is incredibly experienced and is one of the hands-down, most wonderful people you will ever meet. The other stylists in the salon are all of the same caliber! They are also beautiful, incredibly skilled, and truly great human beings. The bay area is saturated with a million salons (and I have wasted money on many of them!), but Oak and Honey really stands out. Maddy has made it warm, comfortable, inviting, and you will always walk away looking great and feeling uplifted. I had my usual bleach and tone/haircut service, and as usual, I felt like a new person as I left the salon. Do yourself a favor. If you're looking to feel refreshed and need some genuine love and happiness injected into your life and hair, make an appointment at Oak and Honey. Easy, free parking. Covid protocols followed. And great hair and great conversation ALWAYS!

I have been coming to the owner for over 10 years for men's haircuts. I love that she opened her own salon. I've been coming here now since opening and I always get the best service. Perfect haircuts, good price, friendly people and great location. Highly recommend.

I had a fantastic experience at Oak & Honey! My hairstylist, Cassidy, was super friendly and kind, and she helped me find the perfect cut for me. I left feeling so happy with my new hair! They follow strict covid 19 precautions, so I felt at ease the entire time. I definitely recommend Oak & Honey!

Great atmosphere, good location and my hairstylist Britinee did a fantastic job as usual. Their precautions checking temperature and sanitizing equipment after use during covid made me feel at ease.

Really disappointed, I went twice was very happy with my service, but she ended up moving. My experience was good and wanted to return with my daughter and was rudely told they won’t work on kids. She is 11 and was not looking for a kiddie seat motel was I looking for a discounted cut. Very disappointed.

I have multiple triggers and the first time I came here they worked with me on ensuring the products were safe—second time around, it was going all good, but the difference was I chose to drink and talk about my religious beliefs after some questions regarding my tattoos. I could see in this woman's eyes that she was being sneaky about the final product she sprayed into my hair that had Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein. I have gluten ataxia, my cerebellum gets attacked by exposure whether it is consumption or inhalation. I had a couple of drinks and just decided to sweep it under the rug at the time, washed my face and tried to distract myself by going out with a friend after. It directly impacted my academic performance at school because it is quite hard to think when your brain is literally being damaged.

I will not state the name because she knows who she is. Overpriced botched haircut (my hair actually got more damaged due to that hairspray used), and they had me sign a waiver while her Devil possessed eyes tried to hide how she knew what she did was wrong.

Put your hardearned money elsewhere, they offer alcohol as a distraction from the lack of talent and blatant bigotry.

Crista doesn't show up! Guessing just doing this long enough to marry some money. Then she'll be gone. So disappointing.
