Awesome old school toy and book store for children. You can find old school toys like Pacman in the store and new school toys .Also they have a nice collection of books. I love the mom and pop shop ambiance.

Amazing place to buy gifts for kids of all ages! This has replaced Target as my go-to for kids gifts that include unique, creative, fun and even educational stuff. You can find stuff ranging from legos, story books to a crazy science experiments box. One stop for all kids gifts!

Visited here this week when I wanted to pick up a gift for a new baby. So wonderful to have a book and toy store for children right in downtown Sunnyvale on Murphy Avenue. A wonderful place to browse and pick up something special.

My kids and I love coming to this toy store whenever we are walking around downtown Sunnyvale. They have so many educational and wooden toys (none of those cheap flashy loud plastic toys) and books! We like to support local businesses and buy our kid's toys/ books here instead of amazon. Staff is super friendly and helpful when choosing birthday gifts for our children's friends + they do a wonderful job gift wrapping

Bookasaurus is an awesome little store with an amazing selection of books, toys, and other healthy imaginative activities for children. From plushies to STEM this little green will pleasantly surprise you. A gift card for this little nook is always a bonus.

Lovely locally owned toy and book store. Our kids love coming in here while we’re downtown, and we’ve found more than one favorite new book series through them.

My go-to store for children’s gifts. There’s a thoughtfully curated collection of books, games, activity kits, and toys. I’m always confident that I can find something that will inspire creative or exploration, rather than another plastic toy licensed from a franchise that will end up tossed into a toy been (I hear you can find those at the nearby Target).

We've been coming to this wonderful neighborhood toy store for years. From the excellent selection of books and toys to the friendly, warm staff who always remember my child's name, it is a delight in every way. I love the creaks in the wood floors that feel like home and the complimentary gift wrap as well!

Nice selection of children's books, toys, puzzles, crafts, etc. The best part is that staff is very informed of the selection and are great at giving advice for different ages and interests. They will even wrap the gifts for free. Prices for some items can be higher than online, but it's worth it to keep this local neighborhood gem competitive.

I only found this toy store/bookstore by mistake because Target was unexpectedly closed for at least two days so far. My grandson is very well behaved and I wanted to bring him there to purchase some toys. They were closed so I looked up toy stores neat me not expecting to find anything. Sure enough this store is only a half mile away so we could walk there too! Great little store!!!

What can I say about my favorite place to buy kids' books and toys? The inventory is plentiful, usually unique, and always nicely displayed. However, some of the store's best attributes are the super helpful staff! They will look up any book for you, recommend something interesting for picky readers, help you find a book they don't have, wrap your presents, and generally make you smile with some witty banter!

Great toy store, with a good selection of toys, definitely better than Walmart or Target has to offer. Soft toys are cute and of a good quality, board games entertaining for a wide age range. Smart toys all around. And on top of that, they would wrap your purchase and put a bow on top of it ;) Love it!

Lovely little store that sells books and toys. I went there looking for juggling balls, but they were out out of stock. The girl at the counter (Caroline was her name, I think) promptly recommended two stores for me to check out, and also suggested that I put some beans in socks and use those. Great advice, and she was very friendly! She deserves every one of the five stars I'm giving Bookasaurus!
