This county park is a gem! Its tranquil environment and extensive shady trails make it ideal for summer biking and walking. Although the trails can get crowded, heading south provides more shade. Additionally, both directions lead to charming restaurant areas, allowing for a satisfying post-park meal. Embrace the beauty and amenities of this lovely park!

Nice park with reasonable $6 parking. We went to fish and enjoyed the tangle free shores. There are Porta potties, due to COVID-19. Looks good for walking and biking too. Actually the bathrooms are open and have running water!

We visited again in September 2021 and found that fishing in the river (on the far side of the park) is even better.

They gave a casting pond, but not sure what that is all about.

A very peaceful and beautiful park. I love to come to this park for a quick and easy walk around the pond with my family. During the weekends the park has free car parking too. You can spend some quality and memorable time with your family while you go around the park.

Los Gatos Creek County Park is the best place to eat your McDonald's at. The sound of running water from the creek and the sound of revving engines from the highway makes a interesting tune. The parking cost $2 for 1 hr, $4 for 2hs and $6 for all day parking with in and out access. I didn't bring my dog today cause the dog park is closed for a month. The tables I ate my meal on have chess or checker boards on them, was contemplating on either using rocks or my French fries as pieces. The sun's been out alot this season so the water quality isn't so clear. Usually you can see fish but the water has so much algae that you can't see any life unless it's on top.

Love if you're an out-of-towner. One to know some really good hiking trails. Biking trails and just know the local wildlife and scenery. Then Los Angeles pick trails where you wanna be and lost out of speaking. Counting cards is the best play scene. Natural wildlife on this bass without going further into the mountains

Nice lake near south San Jose Downtown. Very beautiful. Right now there's no fee. Lake is so beautiful and peaceful. Couple of times I saw turtle also in the water.
There are lot of parking spaces available. Dog park is also there inside.
Nice trail for biking and walking alone or with someone. #beautifullake #sanjose #lake #losgatoscreekcountypark

Pleasant walk with much foot traffic, feels safe with sporadic shade. Loop around the reserve is about 1.5 miles. Bring water if you plan to stick around for a bit, parking nearby.

Love this place so much! Dont think I have ever seen fish so big there though in all the years I have been going there. Must have been 18-24 inch long catfish. Fat, too. Where's my fishing pole? Lol!

Very clean enjoyable to walk. The random duck is excrements aren’t lying around as in some other parks. Toddler friendly, just need to keep an eye so that he doesn’t run into the pond. We biked, the ride was nice.

Great dog park here. Big dog and little dog sections and free dog poop bags. The space is part Astro turf and part dirt so a good mix. I had trouble with the gate in to the dog park but a friendly dog owner explained I just had to push it harder. Busy but not at all crowded on a Sunday afternoon.

The dog park was a short walk from the paid parking lot. It's past the gates area with small pools in it. There was a sign saying "dog park" and an arrow so I wasn't lost for too long.

Would love to come back and jog with my dogs down this trail! Good sized paved road and lots of people enjoying biking and jogging it!

Parking: $6. If you want free parking, then park on the street side outside of the park entrance. This is a great park for a quick family outing or a casual stroll. There are some paths where big ponds are visible. It's also a good place to biking and jogging.

Excellent local tall perfect for running and walking. If anyone reads this the week of 11/26/23, the salmon are running in the creek!
