Me and my daughter came to celebrate the start of 2024 and we had an amazing experience. First of all Thank You to our server Ben who did an outstanding job taking care of us, we answered all our questions and made some excellent recommendations, he knows the menu very well.
This restaurant located at Up Town Park Houston has an excellent location and if you don't find parking, don't worry because they have valet for only $10.00, super convenient and not expensive.
The building is BEAUTIFUL! In every sense, from the waiting area to the bar and dining area, they even have patio tables available.
It's so elegant and chic that you'd love it!
Prices are fair for the quality of the food and service.
Restrooms are for all genders and they have sinks inside every stall.
The bar is huge and very busy, fun to just go and have a drink.
The food is absolutely delicious and very different than everything else we have tried before, you'll be delighted with this dishes.

I’m not even sure where to start. The food was so amazing. And that’s often where the review begins and ends. But Vincent our bartender mad it a phenomenal experience. Every part of the evening exceeded every expectation we had. I am not from the area or even this state and I am making it a point to return before I leave again. If you’re looking for a great ambiance paired with a delicious meal and a thoughtful bartender, make sure you stop at bar. You will be absolutely blown away

Love how beautiful this restaurant is, both day and night. The staff were very attentive and pleasant. We sat at the bar, which is designed wonderfully. The bartender made our drinks to perfection. The food was amazing! A flavor party in your mouth! I definitely recommend you give it a try.

*Find Secret Bar Lounge thru restroom.* Beautiful restaurant layout n design! They have different type of atmosphere, seating n vibe for everyone all in one place. Food n atmosphere was on point. GREAT SERVICE!!! Loved the gender neutral restroom concept. Perfect place to hang out with friends or date night.

I had great experience at Lombardi. Service was good, seated fast. Food served quickly. Bread, oil, Balsamico available and tasted good. All dishes were delicious we had wagyu meatballs, lobster pasta and bolognese. Unlike many other Italian places in Houston - this was great! Can fully recommend for tasty upscale Italian food

Wonderful late lunch today at Houston's new Lombardi Cucina Italiana - Houston. Food and service were perfect. So happy to have this new neighborhood restaurant near home.

Another beautiful restaurant brings refined elegance to the dynamic Houston food scene. @lombardicucinahtx is simply fabulous! Exquisite interiors welcome you in. The food is perfection, with so many enticing menu options to enjoy. A hidden gem awaits diners at the back of the restaurant - a sexy, sleek speak easy! This will be a definite hot spot to be seen and enjoyed!

We went to Lombardi for lunch on New Years Eve and had a wonderful experience. The restaurant has been being built out for some months, and it was exciting to see all of the outside details and gorgeous patio taking shape. The food is excellent and creative. For example, the photo that looks like a perfect lemon on a plate is a lemon-lover's dream dessert: a delicate shell of white chocolate filled with an intensely lemon mousse with a rich swirl of cookie texture. (And look at all of those other dessert options on the menu photo!) The cacio e pepe salad is fresh and wonderful, and the wine and spirits list extremely impressive. The temperature-controlled, glass-sided wine room is a piece of art visible throughout the restaurant. But most impressive was the incredible service by Sam. When we asked for the selection of non-peaty Highland whiskeys, he personally went to the bar and created a list for us! He was warm, engaging and thoroughly knowledgeable about every aspect of Lombardi. Sam also mentioned that they will be opening an exclusive "speakeasy" room that sounds really fun. And finally, we sometimes stay at Hotel Granduca across the street from Lombardi. (A total gem. Highly recommended.) The staff mentioned that the Lombardi owner stayed with them at times while the restaurant was being built, and they had nothing but praise for him as a person. You can tell that real passion went into every aspect of Lombardi, and you should plan extra time to enjoy those details. I hope you are lucky enough to have a table with Sam because he is wonderful!

I recently dined at Lombardi, and it was an exceptional experience. The ambiance was inviting, and the staff, especially Jillian, provided outstanding service. The menu showcased a delightful array of dishes, and each one was a culinary masterpiece. I want to express my gratitude to Jillian for her attentive and friendly service, which enhanced our overall dining pleasure. Lombardi is a gem, and I look forward to returning soon.

Gorgeous restaurant with stellar food and service. The atmosphere of this place was excellent with copious natural light and greenery. Our server, Ashley, was extremely knowledgeable about the food and gave some stellar recommendations. The team has incredible cooperation and kept our experience highly enjoyable. I adored the Rigatoni alla Vodka and the Prosciutto with Burrata above all. We also adored the Shakshuka and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. The Rigatoni Alla Vodka is done spectacularly, kept simple but elegant, and was my favorite bite of the meal. The food and ambiance here is spectacular. I would highly recommend this place, and I will be coming back soon.

As an Italian born and raised for 31 years in Italy I finally can say with confidence that this is the only place in US I ate real Italian taste. In contrast with so many other places in US claiming to make Italian kitchen failing miserably behind the shoulder of the not aware American, if you go here I assure you you will have the experience you would have in a good Italian restaurant.
Prices for the portion they bring are very good too.

Amazing Italian restaurant in uptown Houston. Loved the ambience, relaxed with sharply dressed folks. I would recommend ordering to share. The prosciutto is freshly cut tableside which is fun. Another great appetizer is the beef carpaccio with fresh truffle on top, great quality meat. For pastas the pesto with burrata is a must! Service was very friendly but a bit slow. Prices are on the higher end but worth it.

Lovely restaurant!! Love the presentation and attention to detail when the food comes out. Beautiful ambiance, our host is amazinggggg. Very knowledgeable of the menus and her suggestions were top tier. 8/10

One of the best or you may say the best Italiano restaurant in Houston area . Superb menu and unbelievable taste and quality. Everything here is its own class and taste. Friendly atmosphere and high end decor. Nice restrooms area and best ambiance. Ihor , our server is made this event special.

Elegant little Italian restaurant that just opened last week. Everything we had was delicious and our servers were delightful. We sat on the patio on a chilly night but the heaters were perfect, we didn’t feel a thing. The meatballs, scallop risotto, and rigatoni alla vodka were great.

Having just previously had a bad service experience at another restaurant yesterday, when I found out my good friend Ivan was working tonight at this fine establishment I made it a point to come here and enjoy the night. I was treated with 5 star service the moment I walked in. While it was packed and I mean packed to the point I was waiting 30 minutes for a seat at the bar, the service, atmosphere, and food all made up for that in more ways than I can imagine. Even the restrooms are like something out of a museum, nothing but marble and the finest the world has to offer.

I got the Paglia & Fieno bolognese as my entree, Cacio & Pepe as my salad, and limoncello as my desert. The food was all super delicious and to die for, and blows any other establishment out of the water including the “Original Carrabas”. Those were words I thought I’d never say as Carrabas has always been a fairly nice establishment, but this place makes it look like Olive Garden or even worse McDonald’s. This is so far above your typical Italian food restaurant in terms of experience, but the price point is extremely reasonable for what you get. It’s well worth it to bring a loved one or even come alone, and I know I’ll be back again soon. You have my heart Lombardi, I’ll be back again soon.

I had an amazing experience at Lombardi the service was amazing our Sever Red gave great recommendations, and was very attentive and helpful throughout the entire dinning experience. The food was amazing got the truffles pasta, steak, and short braised ribs. Everything was a 10/10!! Will be back

If you're looking for a classy, upscale, laid back atmosphere, this is it. The restaurant and bar has mid-low lighting inside, and the outdoor seating is lit by string lights and beautifil lighting fixtures hanging from a giant tree, it's so romantic. I liked that the volume was low and conducive for all conversations, no need to elevate your voice. There are lots of interesting cocktails on the menu, and they're served up picture-perfectly. The food was delicious. Every person in out party ordered something new and we all loved it. Sam was our waiter, he gets 5 stars too - a great human. He is very knowledgeable on the menus, great with recommendations based on other dishes you like, attentive, even from a distance, and easily available... an ideal server! 👌🏼

Initially, I approached dining at this restaurant with some trepidation, given the string of underwhelming reviews that had surfaced since its opening. Yet, there was a persistent curiosity that nudged me to experience it firsthand, and I'm pleased to report that it was a decision well made.

The ambiance of the restaurant strikes a delightful balance—while it may not claim the title of the most exquisite setting I've encountered, it certainly exudes an air of sophistication. Opting for a lunch visit with colleagues seemed a prudent choice, considering the majority of critical feedback they've received mainly pertained to dinner service.

Our lunch service experience was commendable. The waitress was notably diligent, ensuring our glasses were never empty, and both the appetizer and main courses were served with impressive promptness.

The pricing structure was reasonable, and the culinary offerings were a delight to the palate. The house soup, in particular, stood out as a highlight.

In summary, the dining experience met all expectations splendidly, meriting a five-star rating.

As for their dinner service, that remains to be explored. However, I'm looking forward to returning, next time accompanied by my wife, with the anticipation of another stellar experience.
