Ten Ren Tea

One of my favorite places for bubble milk tea and boba in the Bay Area.

This unassuming shop has some of the cheapest prices with some of the best flavor. My favorite drink is their Roasted Oolong milk tea.

Since COVID, they don't allow anyone in the shop, so one will need to order at a table positioned by one door and pick up at the other.

They do sell teas as well, which one can select by looking through the glass.

Definitely had the tea aromas and the boba were just right, for both small and regular bobas. The drink wasn't on the milky side, but if that's your preference, then ensure to let them know. The sweetness in my jasmine drink had a tad of weird finish, similar to artificial sweetener or something...4.5*. The roasted oolong didn't have it. Definitely can taste and smell the tea as well....4.5*. The Line can get long on weekends so order ahead.
I'll be returning to try the 913 King oolong tea.

This is the top Ten Ren Tea place, newly remodeled, spanking clean. One of the better bubble tea places in the area that also sells premium tea leaves sometimes from very inaccessible mountains in China. Mango smoothie with large and mini pearls is the perfect refresher on any hot day. There's a lot of knowledge here, just ask the question.

Authentic tea, with many delicious options. You can try the tea by itself, or with bobba, lycee jelly etc. If you prefer the extra sweet cheaper teas from QQQ, Quickly or others, you might not like Ten Ren as much as Ten Ren has a lot more flavor. The staff is friendly enough. Ten Ren also sells lots of raw teas.

#1 boba store in the South Bay area, don't @ me. Through the ups and downs of my entire time in the Bay Area, Ten Rens Cupertino has always been here for me.

If you want great, classic bubble tea, look no further. With a good sized menu, there is something for everyone, including hot drinks, blended drinks, and caffeine free drinks.

I've had a lot of the menu, and here are my favorites. (Note: I like less sweet drinks.)

- Black milk tea, 25% sugar with boba or grass jelly.
- Lychee green tea, 25% sugar with ai-yu jelly, boba, and a slice of lemon.
- Roasted oolong milk tea, 75% sugar.
- Almond milk tea, 25% sugar. (It tastes like almond jelly from childhood. 💕)

Even when there are new team members, I have found that the consistency and flavors don't falter. They do things right here.

Parking in this plaza can drive you insane, do make you get three drinks when you come here: one for now, one for the drive home, and one for later. 🤣

Best boba tea in US. This chain is from Taiwan, it’s famous. They are known for their tea leaves. I usually go with basic milk tea. They launched a king milk tea with better tea quality. Tea taste is stronger. My pic show the regular milk black tea.

Authentic milk tea, options to customize sugar level/ice, great price. My new go-to for pearl milk tea.

The fried octopus are super! My kid love them so much, they have to eat it almost once a week.

I had heard about Ten Ren Tea, but thought it was only a tea shop. My friend and I came to this plaza to eat and decided to get boba here after. We kept watching the line and the line honestly seemed to always be out the door. We waited in line for maybe 20 minutes. They also sell their own tea, as well as other tea related items.

I ordered the honey lemon green tea with boba and 75% sweet. It was really refreshing! They even put a real slice of lemon in the drink. Even though I asked for less sweet, I think I will get normal sweetness next time. I assume they use a more authentic tea, so it's a little more bitter than usual. Definitely didn't take away from the drink though! The boba also tasted really fresh and had a nice texture. I think that the drinks are a little more expensive for south bay, but it was about the same as sf pricing. Boba was also only an extra 25 cents instead of 50.

I would go here again, especially since they make the drinks pretty fast. For the length of the line, they were really fast. There was plenty of parking nearby. I would put this boba shop in one of my top favorites.

Also note there is a card minimum of $7.

Old style Chinese tea shop. They sell loose leaf teas and pearl teas. Prices can range from $ to $$$. Whenever my husband wants good quality loose leaf tea for a reasonable price, he comes here. Great place to try different varieties! They are starting to sell different brewed drinks (you can add boba too!) but the lines can be long so haven't tried it yet.

Not every milktea comes with fresh milk. If you care do ask them before ordering.

My first time trying the Ten Ren Tea.
The staff is pretty helpful and has good customer services. The Roasted Oolong milk tea was delicious. It was perfectly made and tasted really good. Totally worth trying.

MY FAVORITE MILK TEA JOINT EVER. Why? Because they actually brew their tea from good tea leaves as it is also a TEA SHOP. Their boba is the perfect consistency. The prices for their milk tea is also reasonable. Since they renovated the place, the line goes faster meaning less wait. But, there is no seating area. Usually ordering something simpler is better. I usually get black milk tea with grass jelly (it’s very fresh).

I got the roasted oolong milk tea with 1/3 sweetness and added grass jelly. It was fabulous, the perfect light sweetness, not overly creamy (but not thin), and strong tea flavor. Super efficient ordering and fast turnaround (I assume they get a lot busier than when I went bcs they also do DoorDash). Right next to Apple campus too.

Good selection of legit Chinese tea and delicious milk tea with pearls. The nice lady who helped my mother with teas seemed quite knowledgeable and friendly as well.

Best tea place in the Bay hands down. I've been going to this place for almost 15 years. I moved out of the bay and still make the drive from Central Valley to TenRen.

My all time favorite that no other place could replace is the honeydew milk green tea. Strawberry milk green tea is pretty good as well, sweet and sour.

If you don't like fruit tea, their classic Jasmine milk tea and roasted oolong are also on top of my list.

The tea here is fantastic. Like just the tea by itself. My husband and I often go here to get jasmine dragon pearls for my mother-in-law. The boba drinks are also excellent. I know, white dude who likes boba. How much does he really know? I'll leave it up to you, but ten ren is a solid option.
