Vidhi Shah, M.D.

I have had the pleasure of having Dr Vidhi Shah as my PCP (primary care physician) for several years now and I have nothing but total confidence in her ability to provide excellent care for health challenges that I may face. During the times that I have had to see her, the visits are always a delight because I can talk to her about issues that are concerning to me. And the best part is that she not only cares about my specific health needs, but my wellbeing as a whole. Sometimes it’s like having a conversation with a friend instead of a medical provider.

Dr Vidhi’s diagnosis is always perfect. She is very attentive, patient and always gives me time as her patient. She also provides a detailed explanation of my condition, treatments and always motivates me to strive better. She is always cheerful during my visits and above all a very knowledgeable Doctor.

Dr Shah isn’t my actual provider. I was scheduled to see her when I felt really sick. When she came in the room, she didn’t even introduce herself. She started off with “tell me what’s going on?” As someone who also works in the medical field, I know that that’s the first thing you should do to build rapport with your patient. When she did cultures, she just jabbed that swab in my nose! I usually have a high pain threshold but since I was already sick, I was obviously already in pain. So when she did that, it definitely made me cry. She could’ve been more gentle! She also ordered some tests that made no sense. She diagnosed me with ear infection. I didn’t even had pain in my ear. But oh well. Let’s see if her prescriptions help. Bottomline is, I didn’t like her bedside manners and hope that she changes that.
