This is a wonderful company to deal with- responsive, trustworthy, honest and with a big selection of great quality furniture- some Amish made, some Canadian, with various price ranges. A gem of a place with dining sets that far exceed quality of major chain furniture stores. Highly recommended.

Our counter stools just arrived today, and they are perfect! Fred and Heather are very helpful. The store offers great services, we got stools to use while we were waiting for ours. We are very happy we found this store!!

My husband and I needed to replace some very old and worn swivel dining chairs, saw an ad in the newspaper, and called Heather at California Dining and Barstools. She was knowledgeable, listened carefully to our preferences, and said they had six options that we might like on the floor. She recommended that we come and try them out (even though the drive to Sunnyvale was long) because "chairs sit differently for different people." So we made the drive. What a great day that was. We met Dennis who showed us the chairs we might like. The people and service at California Dining and Bar Stools are exceptional! We unexpectedly replaced both our kitchen dining set and our dining room table and chairs with quality, elegant furniture for a very good price. It was all delivered to our house the next day by Mike and John. They disassembled our old furniture and moved it to the garage. And they reassembled the new furniture exactly where we wanted it. They were efficient, professional, personable, and knowledgeable. We recommend this company without reservation. You should visit them.

New place so I was skeptical at first, but I love the selection! My new walnut dining set is very well made! Little pricey, but well worth the lifetime investment. Highly recommend.

Great high quality dining sets. Especially dining sets from amish and other craftsman from east coast. Really hard to find such quality in the bay area. They also carry some cheaper, but decent imported sets too. Tons of variety of high quality bar and counter stools too. Very knowledgeable staff, a rarity in this industry. Not pushy at all. You need to visit once and experience ! Hidden gem.

In a time when it is increasingly difficult to find well-made furniture in an actual store, California Dining and Bar Stools was a welcome surprise. They have quality brands, know the products and had the expertise to help us make decisions on what we needed.

Sal was great, and even sent us home with a barstool to decide how it worked in our space.

They took an amazing care of us. Same day delivery. Then one of the chairs didn't swivel well, so on the same day they picked it, fixed it and returned.

This place is as good as it gets. It's not just that they have great prices and a large selection. Their service is the BEST. We bought our bar stools a couple of years ago. We wanted a very particular height that is not standard, so we picked out a style we liked and these guys cut the legs for us. Beautiful job, very high quality work. Recently the chairs started squeaking and I couldn't fix it with WD40. They literally came to the house and replaced the stool seat pans outside. Super cheap, very convenient, and once again - high quality work. Honestly, it doesn't get any better.

Great selection of tables, chairs and stools. The service is awesome and they really want to help you find the right things that work long term instead of just selling. They’ll let you borrow things to try them out even which is super helpful. We ordered a custom table but our chairs were coming in much sooner and they insisted we borrow a table for the two months that we wait for the custom table. Can’t say enough great things about them. I did also found their prices to be very reasonable especially considering they come with service and a smile which is something at times is hard to find.

My wife and I went in today to look for dining chairs. They have a huge selection. We were greeted immediately which is rare these days. The owner helped us with design ideas and color matching. We ended up getting a whole new dining room set, table and chairs.

The gentlemen who run this shop are of the highest integrity. They are hardworking, honest and really care about the customer. They have come to my home more than once to answer questions and give me ideas for the table and chairs I purchased from them. I would definitely buy here again!

Finally found what I was looking for here after going all over the Bay Area for a new bar / pub table to use in my dining room. Whereas the chains like Crate & Barrel or Pier 1 have a couple tables, none were close to what I was looking for. California Stools Bars Dinettes has hundreds of options for tables, stools, etc. and the prices were excellent... rare to find in a family-owned store.

And as you'd expect from a business that's been family-owned for 30 years, the service was incredible. They're adjusting the height of the table for free and, since we're on their warehouse route, even delivering the table to us for free. Wow! Good luck ever getting service like that at a chain store.

I've always liked these guys. No hard sell, and very knowledgeable. Prices are fair too, and they've got a big selection. Bought a dining room table there 15 years ago, and just recently, bought some bar stools. A great old-fashioned business.

The folks here are very knowledgeable and helpful! Very large selection of barstools and counter stools. They let you borrow one of their chairs to see how it looks in your home before purchase.
