Murphy Park

The details giving nod to the local history is so cool. Please go visit the Sunnyvale museum to see what I'm referring to. Love that the trees from the 1st house are still standing and that they left the grassy area where the house would've stood.

Small but cute playground for young kids. Clean and a lot of greens.

Our favorite walk in the neighborhood is to Murphy park and back. Beautiful tres and fun playgrounds for my toddler. The one attached to the community building is open to anyone after 12pm every day (used for preschool before that).

This park is very quiet & chill. Parking lot is large & I've never seen filled even half. There is a long history datinf back to the American west expansion with the building at that park with signs there about it. There seems to be a ping-pong club in the afternoons inside (seems to be for pros - they get dressed up & everything) & a cute playground & kind of an ampatheater. I lay out in the soft grass & smell the flowers.

Great place to enjoy with your kids

When my beloved 🦮 was still alive, I loved to bring him here because it's cornered by Central Expressway and California/Sunnyvale-Saratoga Ave. So, it's rather safe as he got hit by a car previously.
Since his passing away, the City has since added a fenced croquet field, and also ping-pong room for seniors to get in their daily exercises. At the other end, there is a brand new kids' playground that moms bring their toddlers.
And finally, they've turned the back area behind pingpong room into an open air concert hall.

This park is a hidden gem. It's like any park but on a smaller scale

Solid community center my group uses for square dance. Spacious, with multiple groups using different areas of outside park. Centrally located / close to 237.

I like the greenery of this area! Nice park to gather with friends.

Lovely little neighborhood park. A friend wanted to visit the Holiday Crafts sale at the clubhouse so we stopped by. Park has lots of beautiful big old trees, walking paths and off-street parking.

This is one of the best parks around Sunnyvale

Big Park they have two playgrounds. The fence is child proof I loved that so kids can leave unless an adult opens it. They have lots of picnic tables. It’s was all pretty clean.

We usually come to this park in the mornings for some exercise by way of badminton. We set up our portable net on the grass and play. Hasn't been too busy when we've been there but it's also popular with folks walking their dogs or out with their kids. There are picnic tables, a small playground and a parking lot.

Stopped for a quick spot to enjoy our JOY WOK dinner with my husband and daughter. Beautiful scenery and quiet.

Although this park locates besides Sunnyvale Rd, it is quiet enough and people who visit here are very friendly.
