Nikki is talented and passionate at what she does, and she is super personable! I went in for a blowout and had a great time getting to know her AND getting my hair done. She was quick and efficient, and my hair turned out exactly as I’d wanted. Thank you Nikki!

Parlour 17 is definitely a step up from your normal hair salon with tea and neck massages upon request! I usually feel nervous going to the hairdresser but with Nikki and Mary, it’s a relief to know I am in good hands ☺ Highly recommend!

Nikki was very sweet. She consulted what I wanted to do with my hair. She suggested and gave me options to achieve the look I was going for. The overall experience was relaxing and I love my new hairstyle.

I’ve been going to Mary for the last 8 maybe 9 years and I’m so glad to have found her. Her expertise is on an another level. She knows color obviously. She takes the time to continually train and give her team an opportunity to grow as well. She takes the time to understand her clients needs and gives them a fantastic experience. Her whole team is amazing. You feel pampered and get the time to recharge while in the chair. Plus the conversation is on another level. It’s a spa treatment vibe. I highly recommend her!! I’ve loved every visit!

I’m super happy with the service and the level of mastery. It is the only salon in the neighborhood that had an expertise in removing my hair extensions I had done in other place ( 3 other salons I called were not able to. I almost lost hope).

Today was my second time visiting Mary at this parlor. I enjoyed my visit with her today. She did an excellent job. I love the bob-cut she did for me. I received the same treatment and service as I expected. The staff was very friendly and nice. Espe was great too! I will definitely come back to her for my future haircuts and colors. I will definitely recommend her to my friends and family. Thank you, Mary for everything. ♥

Mary is expert at her craft. I have thick, frizzy, crazy Irish hair, and she transforms it in to a glorious, shiny mane. Simply the best!

Mary was amazing! The stylist I was originally booked with was out sick but, Mary fit me into her schedule. She did an awesome job on my hair and I loved talking to her. She was so relatable and friendly, provide exactly the look I had in mind and I’ll definitely be back.

Esperanza "Espe" did a remarkable job. She is well versed and was thorough in everything she did! Update: They have more than 60% hike in their prices. $65 Blowout has become $117 in 4 months. Mind blowing! I can't afford their services anymore. I would rather buy a Dyson!

The service experience is excellent every single time without fail. Beyond the service, after looking for a talented stylist in the Bay Area for years I was lucky enough to find Mary. Her color and cutting skills/artistry leave me feeling more confident and like a new person every time I leave the salon. I 10/10 recommend.

I love the long layers that Mary put in--I'm hoping to be able to replicate the style!! I at least will have the satisfaction of having healthier hair!! I really love the massages, mood music and lively conversation with everyone there :) Mahalo!!

Great service and also she gave really good advice for hair care. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable. The owner doesn’t push you to buy her products, which is big relief. At the same time she’s a subject matter expert when it comes to hair care and wellness. Also, the complimentary neck and shoulder message was soooooo relaxing 😌

I brought in a photo of a long bob haircut that I’ve been eyeing for a couple years. Mary delivered exactly what I wanted! I was amazed at how identical the finished result for my haircut looked in comparison to the photo I initially showed her. :) Mary was friendly, cheerful, & knowledgeable. I felt well-taken care of & had a relaxing & positive experience. I’m a college student & this was my 1st my hair cut in 3 years! I asked Mary for some haircare tips for my fine, wavy hair that gets easily-damaged. Mary offered easy & practical suggestions well-suitable for my low-maintenance needs/current schedule. I’m the type of client that tends to forget/procrastinate w/ getting haircuts for prolonged periods of time. Mary shared a great tip about how some of her clients pre-book appts for the whole year (once every 2-3 mos.) & that the pre-booked appts can be easily rescheduled online, too. I’ve been going to this salon for a few years and have always left feeling happy and satisfied with my new hair style. I recommend any of the stylists. My most recent experience was Manuel and he did an amazing job with my balayage and haircut. He also gives great scalp massages.
