Every time I've called into cust service I'm pleasantly delighted at the top notch level of customer service from each person. They have always gone way above and beyond to help!

Lady's are always very helpful and nice when I go to pay my monthly bill.

I think the last guy is bitter over something that maybe didn't go the way he wanted. No details given is always fishy to me. Well, I have dealt with them over just going in to pay bill since I forgot that isn't quick and they have to remind me it's quicker to pay by mail, or just as quick...stupid?! Yes! Their fault? No! Do their rates suck?! Definitely ;) Is that the workers fault?! No! They are always helpful and polite if I call in as well and very helpful. I am interested to what the rest of the last reviewer's actual story is or I am inclined not to belief his claim.

I realize that this is a government office, and as such inherently is dysfunctional. However, the level of customer service here is simply abysmal. Every other company I have ever received services or goods from allows me to pay via paperless billing; not here. When I called today at lunch to see if they received my first payment from my bank I was told they could not look that up. After a pause of several seconds the very rude lady told me that everyone who could look that up was in a meeting, and I should call back in an hour. I called back after waiting an hour and half. I got the same rude lady, with the same message. I asked if she could take my name and number and have someone call me back when they got out of their meeting. I was told this was not something she was allowed to do. I find this very strange as I worked for several years in the customer service field for a utility company. I find this lack of customer service unacceptable.

Went to office to get a low income exemption. They said it was for $40,000 and under based on income on my income tax form. They also count your ARA which is not income, it is my savings I am spending to live. I hope the city takes over the sewer district. Maybe we can get something that is more compassionate

Rate increase to $99.00 a month? For sewer? How are we the people of lake stevens not FURIOUS about this? With all the building in the area our "flat rate" billing should go down NOT up. What am I missing here? If they don't have capacity to account for growth stop building. Period.

You have no choice for your water / sewer services , and they have no control over billing due to government control. (I.e. One time exceptions due to automatic payment errors etc)

As a consequence you have a very unforgiving water sewer district. The employees are nice but they are forced to break the bad news to you that they can't help you if anything goes wrong with billing, they can only help going forward.

Be careful for winter months and pipes bursting, this will be one of the districts that will not contact you to let you know that water may be leaking and your bill is going up.

The most poorly ran and dysfunctional business I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Hands down the lowest quality customer service I’ve ever received.

Can't believe I pay 89 a month for sewage......well when the houses that are being built our prices should go down. Bulletproof glass in there ridiculous. Banks in LAKE Stevens don't have bullet proof glass for interaction. Overkill is what it is.

Disappointed in bill delivery, did not receive multiple bills then charged late fees. Very shady business practice.
