Solano Hardwoods

I had bamboo flooring installed throughout my living and kitchen about five years. I was told it was water and scratch resistant. This was obviously not true! We put up with it until our dishwasher sprung a leak and soaked the bamboo wood right in front. Even though I was home and cleaned it up right away, the damage was done (see pics).

I called around to see if anyone could do a repair for the specific area, but everyone told me they didn't do that unless they originally installed it. I then spoke with Alex Sedat at Solano Hardwoods! After hearing what happened he asked why I hadn't called my home owner insurance company. It never even occurred to me. Alex was amazing! He explained the process and what I needed to do to open a claim. Once I had my adjuster person information, I gave it to Alex and he took over. The same day of our first phone call we did a FaceTime and I showed him the damage. He then came in person before talking to my insurance and confirmed everything that could be done.

I could not be happier with my experience with Solano Hardwood and Alex! I ended up getting all of the bamboo replaced, as it was "continuous" and it only cost me the insurance co-pay. and a little extra for extra work I requested (outside of the insurance claim). Alex advocated for what was needed and made the whole process incredibly easy.

I wish I had other work for them to do! The workers were also amazing and got the whole job done in two days (almost 800 square feet).

I am so happy I chose Solano Hardwoods for my new floors. Alex knew exactly how to make my ideas reality and how to get the best result for my investment. I chose SPC (stone polymer composite) flooring because it's waterproof and so strong. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to afford what I really wanted, but I got a good price on some incredibly beautiful, super durable new floors. Angel and the crew who did the installation were so fast, I couldn't believe it. My floors look amazing, it has completely changed the look and feel of my whole house. From start to finish, the project was smooth, quick and very easy with a great result!

Love my luxury vinyl plank flooring installed by Solano Hardwoods back in 2020. When I visited the showroom, a lot of time was spent with me answering my questions and helping me narrow down the type of flooring I should get to fit my lifestyle with 4 dogs. Alex came out to do the measurements and I was amazed that the amount ordered was perfect for the job, no shortage, no overage.
Alex is professional and knowledgeable, and this was true of Fabian, Louis and the team who did a fabulous job installing the flooring. The time they spent on the little details amounted to a beautiful job throughout, and that includes not having the quarter-rounds at the base of my fireplace hearth and doors for a cleaner look. Their finishing touch was to clean and sweep everything up before they left!
I recommend Solano Hardwoods with no hesitation for their professionalism, expertise and wonderful workmanship.
Adding to my review about the original install done in 2020, I had to install in a new dishwasher but it was blocked by the toe kick that was installed when I had my kitchen remodeled (different contractor). Angel and Ivan stopped by day before my dishwasher delivery to remove the toe kick and came back afterwards to put it back. They were friendly, professional and most importantly, paid attention to detail to make sure material was not damaged and everything was aligned when installing toe kick back on. Again, I highly recommend Solano Hardwood and Alex's team!

We had carpet put in our bedroom about 2 1/2 years ago, from a different company. We love our carpet but refused to do business with them again. To make a long story short, we decided to put in new carpet in our dining and living room. We search for someone to do the job got plenty of estimates and Alex at Solano Hardwood came up the winner on top of that him and his assistant Silvia really worked with us to match the carpet from 2 1/2 years ago. The installers came in and did and excellent job and you can’t tell that the carpet was from 2 different companies. We are very pleased with the look and the feel of our new carpet. I would recommend Solano Hardwood flooring to anyone who wants some satisfaction .

We hired Solano Hardwood to carpet 6 rooms in our house about 2 years ago. They did a great job and all was good. Recently, I had some questions about how the carpet was wearing and Alex provided excellent service. Listened to my questions, answered fully, sent 2 guys to check things out. In the end, we have been pleased with the carpet, and service.

I want to thank Alex Sadat, and the installation team of Enyo and Filipe for the service and installation of our new floors. We live in an 1,144 sq. ft. home, and the new floors give the impression of much more space. Enyo and Filipe were phenomenal, in at 10 out at 4, cleaned up, and everything put back.

We shopped for competitive estimates to put hardwood floors in our home. Alex was very professional and had very valuable ideas as the type of floor that would look good in our home. As nice as he was we felt we needed to shop around to make sure we got a competitive price. After having at least 5 businesses come to our home, we decided that the rapport and comfort with Alex could not be matched. Honestly he was not the cheapest but was close and competitive in price.

The work was completed by his two installers who have worked for him for years. We were very impressed with the how hard they worked daily and laid our floors perfectly. The workers cleaned up every day which we appreciated.

In conclusion, we have never regretted using Solano Floors. We love our floors and more importantly our decision to use Solano Floors. You can be assured we will, without hesitation, use them in the future.

I have nothing but great things to say about Alex and his crew. From the moment we met Alex we felt comfortable with him. We felt we didn't need another estimate. He may be a bit higher than other places from what I have read in these reviews, but we'll worth it. We were looking for quality work and boy did we get it. The workers Fabian and Luis were awesome. They worked so hard everyday and at the end of each day they cleaned up as to not leave a mess. Great people, honest , hard working and funny, what more can a person ask for.

Alex, his crew at the store, and Fabian and his installation team are excellent. From the estimate to installation, everything was great. If you're like me, you want great service with a great product, and that's what you get with solano hardwoods. We had most of the carpet in our home removed, as well as linoleum and laminate wood installed. After getting A LOT of quotes from other companies, and Alex was very competitive with his price and was willing to work with us. I highly recommend them. Because they're good, we had to wait a couple of weeks to get things installed.

Alex and his staff worked with us down to the finest detail with suggestions and recommendations and even on the pricing. We had old laminate and carpet replaced with engineered hardwood. Best decision ever! The crew that installed was amazing! One half day for demo and 2 1/2 for install. I would definitely recommend them for your flooring needs.

Professionalism at its best! The work was perfect, we couldnt be more happier with the finished floors. I had my floor ripped up when I had to do mold remediation all throughout my house. Finding a floor company was tough, but when I found these guys I knew I was going with them. Glenn and Alex were like Pippen and Jordan, or Montana and Rice, when helping me get what I want, and helping me get it done as well. The price was amazing and the work was seamless and the floors look beyond beautiful. The team came in and about five hours later they were done. I HONESTLY wouldn't recommend ANY other flooring company.

I needed a quick turnaround to remove deeply soiled and damaged carpet and install LVT (laminated vinyl tile) and Alex Sadat did an incredible job coordinating the project and the work was done in 48 hours! Alex was very helpful throughout the process of a very small job (a mobile home bath), yet treating it a a huge contract. The job looks great, the workers were respectful, efficient, and great, and Alex's suggestions were spot on.
