Dover Park

This park is one of my favorites.. It is quite calming with the water around. I go here to get a piece of mind, do a few laps or feed the ducks. The birds here are almost not scared of humans, and also try to get the food while u take it out to feed them.. For the most part it is a great park and I would recommend it to anyone for whatever reason.

This park is very nice and clean. The waterfowl add a very playful touch. The playground areas look safe and pleasant. I see lots of happy moms take their kids here. 🙂

When feeding the birds, it’s best to give them seed, as spongy bread and other human foods make them gravely ill. There are rails near some areas of the ponds for safety, and a few benches as well.

It was a great experience today. My daughter fed the birds,ducks,geese. Played on the playgrounds 2 of them. And the park was pretty clean. Everyone there today was nice. And the 2 ponds had the water fountains on. Which makes it prettier and my daughter and I got to see 6 turtles come out of the water she got close to touching one but it went back in water. Had a Great day. The parking is good earlier in the day bu after about 4 the street starts getting full. It is street parking.

Two water features, a playground, and a picnic area, plus a full wrap-around pathway for walkers/runners. Went bird watching here and saw some very fun birds!

My favorite park ....love it ....ducks and small fountain waterfall .....

Travelling to Dunkirk on the Dover ferry early morning so needed a cheap place to stay overnight. Found The Park Inn. Easy to book and checking in was smooth. Bed comfortable and powerful shower. An Indian restaurant attached with a bar you can just have a drink at or enjoy a meal. Very friendly staff. Would stay there again.

Friendly people! We went around 4:30 pm to walk daughters dogs and myself an old man of 62 also wife 54 of 32 years of marriage told you I am old man rambling on .nice place lots of birds and everything that goes with that.(bird poop)

Loved all the different birds. It was fun feeding them. The turtles was a sight even though they would jump I the water when you got close. And the play structures are nice.

It's great for kids playing on the playground.for family's having picnics..there are ducks everywhere that will follow you if you have food.its kind of on the edge of town.so quiet strolls are abundant.with lots of shade trees ...ive been coming here for years..love it..

One of our favorite Dover parks, great for fishing and walking. Two separate parking areas and a "beach" although I would not swim in the lake, kids could still play in the sand. Within walking distance to downtown Dover.

So much wild life. Canadian Geese, Mallards, Drakes, Egrets, geese, ducks pigeons, seagulls, playground equipment for the kids lots of grass area for picknicing and playing outside games or jogging, walking around the pond, taking pictures good for Birthday party! Prom photos

Dover park is always beautiful, I love to go see the ducks, geese, and turtles and other wildlife that congregate here.

Cute, fairly quiet park. Nice place if you love ducks, just watch where you step!

It was beautiful, well kept, clean......and I really love the fountain.

Dover park is an icon of Fairfield, Calif.it has all ways been the place to go feed the ducks ,as far back as even the 70's .but since ive been back to Fairfield ..they have redone this park into a panoramic beauty..absolutely the best park in this area...I would come a long ways to picknic and relax at this park...

Nice park for walking yourself or your dog, play area for the kids and a duck pond. Bring bread and the ducks will surround you like zombies!!

Picnic tables, two play areas, walking path, basketball court, and a big open field. We had a lot of fun. Perfect for flying kites.

Takes 10-15 mins to walk all around. Street parking is free. Yes. Lots of droppings to avoid. Playground was nice for kids.

Very nice and clean park to take your family to for a picnic, feed the ducks and geese, or walk around the park for quiet exercise.
