Avid Coffee

Great coffee shop in downtown Petaluma - that thankfully was open on Labor Day. We were able to get coffee and breakfast items to hold us over until we got home (Berkeley). If I lived in Petaluma, I’d frequent this place for sure.

As a plus - the outside of the place is very dog friendly.

Closest to third wave coffee I've got to drink in town. Cozy wooden surfaces. The library across the road and the sandwiches here look like a great combo - one can coast back and forth the entirety of a day. Looking forward to my next time here

Previously I really just liked espresso. The worker bee changed my mind. Espresso with hints of mint and honey. Steamed milk designed by hand and decorated with bee pollen. Loved it.

I like a latte. Both price and service were fine. A perfect cafe to sit down and talk with. I 'd go down there again. They have a great range of beverages.

Lovely coffee but even more important is kind staff! They didn’t mind me sharing my story about biking into town for the first time and even helped make sure I was plenty hydrated on the hottest day of the year! Their baked goods are to die for and I simply couldn’t resist their blueberry CORNMEAL muffin. Whaaat. Two of my fav things in one. Plenty of space for all the study folk! Easy recommendation! :)

Breakfast sandwich is out of this world chocolate croissant is awesome.

Services staff are cool and efficient.

In a lovely area and its and overall great spot to post up and get some work done. A lot of room inside to sit and work, and some nice spots outside.
I got the chai latter and it was amazing. Sweet and spicy. I also enjoyed a chocolate croissant and orange scone. I would recommend both as yummy baked treats.
Staff was kind and professional. The worker Kelsey was super welcoming and friendly! I recommend this spot to everyone.

Even though paying $5 for a cup of coffee is indeed a crime, (remember when it was $1?) this was the Best cup of coffee (oat milk latte) I’ve had for months. Avid is far and above Starbucks.

This is a great coffee shop. The egg sandwich I had was excellent and filling. Very much worth the price. The staff was awesome, friendly and helped me customize my order to get what I want.

Great, strong coffee with a nice sitting area outside. The interior is a cool modern style with plenty of places to work.

Super friendly staff and great coffee! You can also get lunch items, but they're pretty limited. The salted chocolate chunk cookie is out of this world! Order online and pick it up there or sit outside. Great, laid-back place with helpful people.

There are many coffee shops in the Bay Area, and it's hard to stand out. Acre does. The quality of the coffee here is of such a high standard that you simply can't believe it will be any better than your usual spot until you are sipping it. They also make several creative non-coffee drinks, and several snack items. If you like Andytown in SF or States in the East Bay, you will love Acre alongside them.
